😂 Truly, though. I love grooming doodles. The more the merrier! A little fluff, a lot of fluff, a splash of color, rounded paws, teddy bear faces!??! Aaaah! It’s just so much cuteness to sculpt into beautifully brushed hair! 😍❤️

This summer has been a little quiet while so many are off doing their summer adventures or escaping the Texas heat. It’s been such a great opportunity to meet and welcome in some new faces and spend more time getting to know others. 🥰❤️

Dragos is one of my personal dogs. We’re working on some training, socializing, and confidence building so he’ll be in the shop a lot. Feel free to say hello, or give a happy “aroo!”

I can’t get over our new background!

What’s one of your favorite or most memorable back to school moments? 🙂

I’m a small time shop. My husband and myself, plus the awesome girls from Our Friends. With that said, I am not corporate and I do not operate like a corporate salon.
- If you miss an appt or cancel it last minute and no one fills it— I don’t get paid.
- I have a special needs son, and sometimes it’s hard getting out the door on time. So, albeit it’s generally rare, I may be a couple minutes late from time to time. Please don’t call Michelle’s personal phone 16+ times in a row (especially while she’s on vacation).
- We do not have a land line. Calling us multiple times in a row does nothing, but disrupt whatever is happening. Sometimes we might be in the shower, enjoying family time, in a doctor’s appt, etc. Please instead call once, leave a message, or text. We will get back to you asap.
- Texting the appointment line is the BEST way to get ahold of us. We all have access to it and see it, so you’re more apt to have someone answer you quicker. I have about 5 different areas where communication comes from for me. So it’s all too easy to miss a message, but if you message the appt line, you’ll be guaranteed to be answered in a timely manner.

And again… I am not corporate. I have a flair of humanity to my business. I make mistakes and I forgive mistakes made. If rigidity or express grooms are what you’re looking for — I’m not the groomer for you, and that’s ok! Every groomer has a niche. I’m all about taking my time with each dog and making the experience as positive as possible for them. 🫶❤️
There’s lots of things to iron out. I’m not perfect, but I’m a growing business in this tiny town and I’m doing my best to keep up. ❤️😊

Ever wanted a trained dog but couldn’t afford it or didn’t want to invest the money it takes? Well, here’s your chance to get first dibs on Egbert. He’s from the Harker Heights Pet Adoption Center and is beginning his 6 week In Kennel Training Program with us today. He’ll be ready for pick up on 31 August. Move quickly, I don’t think it’s going to take too long to get this guy adopted. Just look at this do**us face 🤪. Stay tuned for updates on his training. ✌️ 🐶

I have to share one of my own dogs, Albus. How is he this stinking cute?! Pretty sure he’s just a cartoon come to life. He does a lot of silly things, like grab our arms when he’s really excited (clearly, he thinks he’s White Fang). What kind of silly quirky things does your dog do?

What an amazing weekend learning from some of the best in the country! As some may know, I plan to compete in my first grooming competition this summer. To prepare I’ve been traveling on some of my “days off” to learn from some of the best in the industry.
This time from Elizabeth Gibbs and Jacob Robinson, 2 out of the 10 of the groomers on Groom Team USA!
What a super awesome experience. I learned so much and look forward to applying that knowledge even in the pet grooms I present to you, my amazing clients. 🥰❤️

Fun new background! Not sold on the blanket option that I chose, so I’ll be messing with that. May was a bit of a darker but fun background. Now it’s time for bright fun. 🥰
Baron, Sterling, and Winston get their own post, because, well just look at them! They’re so photogenic! lol Baron looks so regal, he’s really just a giant momma’s boy who had to look at the window through the whole photo shoot to see if Mom might walk in.
Short summer cuts are all the rage right now, thanks to all the burrs plaguing everyone after the drought then all the rains. Feel free to schedule your pup to join in the hot new summer do. 😎

Hands down the most fun Yorkie groom on my schedule currently. I absolutely love working with this sweet little guy and working on perfecting the Yorkie mullet. 😎❤️

Update:
They were abandoned by their owner. All I know is their names , one male one female. She hasn’t shown signs of being in heat so she must be fixed. They are use to being together . I don’t no vetting, records or training. Well behaved. Very smart dogs .
They were left for 3 weeks before the neighbors realized and called housing . So they were very skinny when we found them . But they are putting the weight back on.
Please help if you can. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
