2023 ALE TRAIL TEE SHIRT UPDATE

Move over Stanley cup, the hottest most talked about item of the year is now the Vintage 2023 Ale Trail tee shirt! 😎

We had over 280 Ale Trail completions last year, ending on December 31! That’s an incredible completion rate for year 2 and we’re all so grateful for your support and participation. 🙏

Our intention was always to ensure we ordered the correct amount of shirts needed in the exact sizes that everyone prefers. We placed the order earlier in January and have an estimated ETA of Friday Feb 2. Please wait for a final confirmation that we have them available at Cartel Brewing & Blending as we have all your names and contact info on file for those who turned in their completed passports.
Thanks again for your participation and patience with this process.

From all of us to all of you….

Our ‘𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝟰.𝟬’ is set to be released this Friday and we are absolutely stoked!

This time around, we went for a refreshing Belgian Wit. This beer is a combination of barley, wheat, and oats with coriander and orange peel, both fresh off the fruit and dried. All this with hallertau hops, for slightly fruity and flowery notes.

This bright and inviting beer will come in around 4.5%, making it an easy drinker and the perfect brew to check off a few breweries on your Ale Trail Passport 😉

Stop by any of our 24 participating guild breweries for this refreshing brew this FRIDAY!

This past Wednesday we kicked off our fourth installment of ‘County Wide’ with 24 of the member breweries from the Lancaster County area.

Cox Brewing Company was kind enough to host the brew session for this refreshing and vibrant Witbier we hope to release in the next few weeks.

And what Lancaster County Brewers Guild collab is complete without a little fun? Mike from Moo Duck Brewing brought his chicken smoker, Cox Brewing brought out the corn hole boards and each brewery arrived with their own side dish. You could say we had a heck of a time!

We can’t wait to get this beautiful beer on tap🍻

This past Tuesday we had our quarterly Guild Meeting at Columbia Kettle Works where we discussed new ventures, the next County Wide brew and had a very tasty beer share.

But this meeting was quite special as we had Co-Founder of Victory Brewing Co., Bill Covaleski, stop by for some brewing insight.

We also had some successions as far as board members and new members filling their place. Ryan from Pour Man’s Brewing Company stepped down as President, after serving three years and Francisco Ramirez of Mad Chef Craft Brewing will take his place.

With some transitions on the board, a new County Wide on the way and new events to come, we are very excited to see what 2023 will bring for the Guild this year🍻

This past weekend, brewers and owners of Mad Chef Craft Brewing, Columbia Kettle Works & Big Dog Brewing were accompanied by BJCP judges to find out who would be the next Lancaster Iron Brewer.

This competition puts home brewers head to head to see who ultimately has the best overall home brew. This year, the competition was arguably the most diverse.

We’ll see you there🍻
