Reflecting on an incredible seminar with our amazing HOBY ambassadors! 🌟 They spelled out ‘HOBY’ and embodied the spirit of leadership and empowerment. Can’t wait to see the impact they make! 💪✨
Last weekend we had the honor of hosting an amazing group of young Ambassadors from Central Pennsylvania HOBY. They readily agreed to help with our canned food reorganization. Their teamwork, organization, and dedication were inspiring and the amount of work they completed in a short time was exhilarating. Later in the afternoon, our Executive Assistant, Mari Anne, had the privilege of representing Pet Pantry on their Human Library Panel. The Ambassadors had the opportunity to ask poignant, thoughtful questions of all the panelists.
Pet Pantry thanks the Central Pennsylvania HOBY, and their Ambassadors for selecting us to host one of their offsite groups and meet these incredible young people. OUTSTANDING!

And just like that, the 2024 CPA Seminar has come to an end! It was an OUTSTANDING weekend and we hope our ambassadors are empowered to implement what they have learned in their communities.
Yesterday, ambassadors heard from Santina Huerta, a dynamic Mindset Life Coach. Our closing ceremonies took place yesterday afternoon, where four ambassadors were awarded a scholarship for the World Leadership Conference! 🙌🏽

Day 2 is in the books! Our ambassadors had a packed day but we’d still call it pretty OUTSTANDING. We started the day taking a look at personal leadership and welcomed our first keynote of the day, Beck Moore, who spoke about the importance of authenticity in life and leadership followed by identity icebergs. As we moved into group leadership, ambassadors heard from the energetic Heather Holloway who taught the method of leading through the acronym RISE. The night ended with an intro to service leadership which the ambassadors will be putting into action tomorrow at our off site volunteer projects! See you soon for day 3!!
CPA HOBY 2024 has officially kicked off! We successfully welcomed over 180 ambassadors to Millersville University. Once our ambassadors got settled in, we kicked off the fun with the 2nd annual HOBY Olympics, where groups had to work together to successfully complete 10 “events”. After our fun in the sun, HOBY welcomed keynote speaker Justin Kurtz who spoke on the importance of service, how the smallest acts can leave a big impact, and encouraged our ambassadors to serve with humility. We are so pumped for Day 2 🙆♂️🙆🏽♀️🤩

We'll be creating tied fleece blankets to donate to animal shelters and adoption centers around Pennsylvania for Comfort for Critters! These blankets are extremely easy to make - all we're asking is for donations of fleece fabric to make them!
Each blanket is made of 2 pieces: a patterned top piece, and a plain colored bottom piece. Click the link in our bio to sign up for the appropriate type of fleece fabric you're planning on donating. Fleece can be purchased by the yard from most craft and fabric stores, such as Joann or Michaels.
Donations will be collected at check-in when you arrive for the 2024 seminar.
