Today we all got to be a little closer to our brother Brandon Peterson that passed away just 3 short months ago but feels like a lifetime. LFFA showed up strong to start a swing set and play house for his and Allison’s daughters. It felt weird as we pulled up but felt his presence while we were there which was much needed. Love ya Skinny Pete sorry for the few mistakes we may have made on the build😂😂

**Update on Brandon**

Brandon Peterson and his loving family need our prayers more than ever. We are all praying for a miracle. We have every hope that Brandon will be home very soon. Unfortunately, there are still some complications with his battle that we are praying for. We are praying for a complete miracle over our brother!

Brandon was able to make a post on Facebook earlier today saying,

“Alright. Some rough news today, but I’m going to battle and fight as best as I can.

The plan is for me to come home to Texas sometime tomorrow. There is a private medical plane waiting on standby from my understanding coordinated by a retired firefighter friend and my brothers at Lancaster Fire Department. The only holdup right now is that I need an ICU room when I get to Dallas at UTSW. Those rooms are currently completely full because of covid. I am covid negative currently. I am on the urgent waitlist for an ICU room. As soon as one becomes available from my understanding I will be given the all clear to be transported to an airport to board this plane. Orange County Fire Rescue (Orlando Fire Department has offered to transport me to the airport). I’m not sure which airport I will be landing at yet, but my firefighter brothers from Lancaster will pick me up from the airport to transport me to UTSW. From there I go to the ICU again.

I have to get my oxygen levels to maintain a safe level on non high flow oxygen. Currently I’m on high flow and anything I do exertion wise depletes my levels. I can’t be at my house with it doing this as there is not enough oxygen supply to be able to keep at the house to maintain those levels. I won’t be able to leave the ICU until I can be on low flow oxygen so that will be one goal followed by beating the blood infection.

Allison’s family is on their way down from Atlanta right now. They will arrive tonight. The Orlando Regional Medical Center is setting up a private room for me in the morning so I can see the rest of my family particularly Avery and Kayla. If I can’t get the oxygen levels controlled at UTSW I don’t know that there will be any options to be able to go home due to not physically being able to keep this much oxygen on supply at home.

I’m scared, but I’m not giving up we still have a fight to fight. Allison needs me, my girls need me, both sides of my family need me. I’m fighting for them. I’m fighting for my firefighter brothers, my church family, and everyone else who has so generously supported my family in so many ways over this past year. I am not giving up. I just need a big miracle. This is a big mountain to fight. Please pray harder than ever. I love all of you. “

*Prayers needed*

As many of you know: we have a brother that is battling cancer.... Recently, He was on a family trip at Disney World sponsored by Michael’s Memories. The trip was heard to have gone well.
Unfortunately, while at the airport: attempting to get back home from Florida. Brandon began to have some complications due to the cancer: prompting a 911 call. This caused Brandons family to become separated: since he was unable to board the plane. We pray for a healing over our brother and ask you all to pray with us. Pray for a quick and safe return home to be with his family over the holidays.

A prime example of how big the fire-family truly is! As many of you know, one of our brothers here in Lancaster is fighting stage 4 lung cancer. He’s been putting up a good fight and pushing forward strong! We also know that medical expenses and other financial issues can arise with any life event. Our brothers in Mansfield took it upon themselves to do something greatly appreciated: something that is been recognized by local-area departments. Big thank you to everyone’s continued support, love, and prayers; for our brother Brandon Peterson and his family.

As we help him continue this fight please consider clicking the link to purchase towards the cause.

Your support would be greatly appreciated.
