π¨As Safety Week comes to an end, we want to highlight that elementary students across all Lancaster ISD campuses successfully completed important safety drills to ensure they are well-prepared and knowledgeable about standard response protocols. These drills help reduce confusion, panic, and even serious injury in case of an emergency. Our secondary campuses will be completing their drills soon as well.
πWe are also proud to share that this week, Lancaster Middle School, JD Hall learning Center, and Rolling Hills Elementary, received a surprise visit from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Exterior Door Audit team and earned a 100% compliance rating! ππ½ TEA checked for intruder detection and ensured all exterior and interior doors were properly locked.
π
A huge thank you to the campus principals and the Lancaster ISD Police Department for a job well done. ππ½ Together, we are creating a safer learning environment for all students.
