Millersville Senior Center

It is almost time to say good-bye to our summer garden. We harvested more collard greens than we could handle, herbs, beans, and cucumbers. Unfortunately our tomatoes didn’t grow. Now to get it ready for the winter.

The Millersville Senior Center will be open Monday August 12, 2024 at 8:00 am. We can’t wait to see everyone.

Dance Party

Millersville senior Center will be closed on Wednesday August 7, 2024 and will re-open on Monday August 12, 2024.

Those seniors who use the services of The Loft can come in from 11 am - 12 noon or at 2:00 pm. The Loft will be open.

Garden produce is starting:

Yesterday we celebrated with our annual summer picnic. We had great weather, great friends and a great time. Thank you to all who volunteered to make this a special day.

The garden was busy with planters today. Thank you to Penn State Master Gardeners and Penn Manor students as well as all the seniors who helped plant, water and w**d.

The garden has started

Rainy days bring beautiful gardens.

April 13 and 14, 2024 we will begin building our raised beds for our 1st Garden on George. We will start at 9:00 am rain or shine. Come help build, meet some new people and have a cup of coffee on the house.

Nutrition class was held today. We learned a lot.

Due to inclement weather, Millersville Senior Center will be closed today.

The flooring is completed

The center will be closed from Monday January 8, 2024 to Monday January 22, 2014 for remodeling.

This one took a bit to complete but hard work and many hands got it finished.

Millersville Senior Center will be closed from September 11 through September 17. We will re-open on Monday September 18 at 8:00 am.

We have run out of the Pennsylvania fruit and vegetable vouchers. We have started a waiting list (if more become available). Please call us at 717-871-9600 to be added to the wait list.

Tuesday July 11, 2023(9:00 am - 1:00 pm) is the day for the fruit and vegetable voucher hand out. Mark your calendars.

Magic Program at the Millersville Senior Center

Due to unforeseen circumstances; the PA fruit and voucher program that provides vouchers to eligible senior citizens will not distribute until mid -July. Please call the center at 717-871-9600 at the end of June for further updates.
