CVVA is still going strong with its Cooking Club!

Spring has sprung for our CVVA elementary students!

Some recent goings on at the elementary CVVA Learning Center, including some sweet treats - perhaps in anticipation of Valentine's Day?!

Yesterday, our elementary CVVA members had their second Cooking Club of the year! Students learned about nutrition - what constitutes a balanced meal, calories, nutrients, etc. They were then tasked with creating a 500-calorie meal that must meet certain protein, fat, iron, and vitamin D requirements. There was a lot of math going on!

Now enrolling! Conestoga Valley's Virtual Academy is open to all students in grades K-12. CVVA was established in 2007 and is a premier provider of local K-12 cyber education.

Next Wednesday, Aug. 3, is the final CVVA Elementary Open House of the summer!

CVVA held a Completion Celebration at East Lampeter Park on Tuesday for its elementary learners. Congratulations on another great year to our teachers, staff, students, and their families!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the CVVA Learning Center! Scones, games, and more were on the schedule for this afternoon!

The Cooking Club was in action today at CVVA's Learning Center in Fritz Elementary. On the menu? Chocolate mousse!

Did you notice our new profile picture?? CVHS students Alaina Culbert, Taylor Horst, and Janessa Gauna worked with Mel Upton, the district’s Administrator for Non-Traditional Learning and Career Readiness, to create a new logo for CVVA!

CVVA elementary learners are exchanging handwritten cards and treats across seven grade-levels. Once sorted, their stuffed Valentine bags are being delivered by a CVVA team member, bringing love and encouragement right to their doorstep! Happy Valentine's Day!

CVVA is ramping up for Valentine's Day!

Yesterday, our elementary CVVA learners got to decorate gingerbread houses! Ok, they were graham cracker houses, but they were masterpieces nonetheless!

Our CVVA students are hard workers and dedicated students, but they also have fun in our Learning Center, housed in Fritz Elementary!

We love seeing our students working together in our Elementary Learning Center!

We hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! Our CVVA staff and students got into the spirit on Friday!

Colder temps are on their way, so this CVVA kindergartner took full advantage of recent sunny weather to learn and grow among the great outdoors!

Some of our elementary CVVA students snuck in some yoga time this week!

Yesterday, CVVA its Hispanic Heritage Celebration! Our learners explored the history of worry dolls (Guatemalan) and created their own to take home. Many loved the Tres Leches Cake (from Mexico and other Latin American countries) and identifying the variety of flags from Hispanic countries around the world.
