Registration is now open! Nicola Herring Photogrpahy is excited to host a 2024 Kids Digital Photogrpahy Camp scheduled for June 24th-28th, 2024 daily from 9am-2pm for kids ages 8-12.
There is a limited number of spots available (10 spots) and registration is due by Wednesday, June 12th to secure a spot.
This photography camp is designed to spark an interest in the art of digital photography, teach the basics of a DSLR camera and its settings, cover the basic history of photography, and learn about image composition and lighting. Each camper will have the opportunity to participate in 4 different photo activities and at the end of the week they will be able to display and share their work with their families at the first ever 2024 Camp Photo Exhibit followed by an ice-cream celebration for all their hard work.

***The camper does not have to have their own camera to participate***

It's Throwback Thursday, and today I'm taking a trip down memory lane to revisit a newborn session from years past. As I reflect on the many families I have had the privilege of meeting, it fills me with gratitude for the journey I've been on as photographer. It is an absolute honor to have played a small part in capturing the beauty and wonder of my client's life stories.

I am feeling a little sad that I’m getting close to wrapping sessions up for this year…but a much needed break is in store and I’m excited for some slower days and enjoying the holidays with my family!

Fall sessions have me up to my eyeballs in editing but I love this time of year so much and wouldn’t have it any other way.

I loved hanging out with the M family and watching them interact with their girls. They wanted to go to this covered bridge where it all began back when they did their engagement session there. It was so special to be with them at this special spot 💕

This year there will be a 48” floral holiday wreath designed by .sensations.by.sheila and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with. Ekkkk! Her florals for last year’s set were so incredibly beautiful.

There will also be a cozy bench which I found at Cocalico Creek and then some cutely wrapped gifts stacked up around. Keep it all in or keep it even simpler and move the gifts out of the way. You can decide!

This year’s set will allow for much creativity for outfit styling and I cannot wait to see what ya’ll come up with. I’ll also be sending out some outfit styling ideas to those who sign up.
