UPDATE: SCHEDULE CHANGE!! Tonight’s practice rescheduled to tomorrow (Thursday) due to rain! Please spread the word!

We’re hoping all of you who were trying to come tonight can make it out tomorrow instead! The weather should be dry & about 15 degrees warmer!! See you then!

A reminder about this week’s schedule, we’re open Monday & Wednesday for practice 5:30-7:30.

Unfortunately we have an additional update as well…

This is a hard post to make but after 13 years as track operators, this will be our last season & the track will be closing. This week will be our last regularly scheduled week. If we schedule an additional day after Grands we will update you. Our boys fell in love with BMX at this track when they were only 4 & 7 & we spent the next 12 years as a family at the track, practicing & racing, traveling, and making amazing friends. Now that they are 17 & 21, no longer racing BMX, and going in their own directions in life, it is time for us to move on as well. While we know it is disappointing to lose a local track, our dwindling rider count & volunteer base, continued monthly operating expenses, and personal obligations no longer make it feasible to remain open. We’re thankful to everyone who has been a part of our journey & shown us support over the years! A very special thank you to our small but mighty group of riders & parents who have weathered the unusually long 50 week BMX season, 3 days a week, wind, heat, and cold year after year with us! We will miss you but will continue to cheer for your success moving forward & are proud to have been part of your lives & BMX story!

This week’s schedule…
With rain in the forecast later in the week, we’ll be open for practice this week on Monday & Wednesday from 5:30-7:30! We know everyone’s getting ready for Grands & we want to make sure you get your track time in. We’ll be closed Thanksgiving week!

Happy Veterans Day to everyone who has bravely served our country! Your service is deeply appreciated!

Our family suffered the loss of a close loved one this past week & we’ve needed time to grieve. We appreciate your understanding & the kind words we’ve received from our track family. Your support these past few months has meant a lot!

What a difference a week makes!! This unexpected August storm dropped a record amount of rain in our desert & on the track! We came together & got it put back together! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to help last night (Wally, Marc, Buster, Kathy, Travis, Nick, and Sixx) to get a huge amount of work done! We love you see our racers taking pride in grooming the track they’ll be riding! We absolutely could not have done it without you!! There is still more cleanup to do over the next few times we’re open to complete everything so if you’re able to pitch in for a bit we’d appreciate it!

We will be open for practice tomorrow 6-8 (it’s gonna be HOT so make sure to hydrate) & Thursday 6-8 for practice & racing if we have enough riders interested. We will return to 5:30-7:30 next week as we’re expecting cooler temps.

Reminder: track work night, tonight at 6! :)

We hope everyone is having a good weekend! We’re aiming to be open this week on Wednesday & Thursday but we’ll need some volunteers to help get the track dialed in before that! We’ll be out there tomorrow evening starting at 6. A solid group of workers can get a lot more done than a few! See you at the track!

Reminder that we’re closed the rest of the week as we clean up & repair the track from the storm. A HUGE thank you to Wally & Kathy for coming out to help last night. Unfortunately it’s gonna take some manpower to get the job done. We’ll post when we’ll be out there & hopefully with enough of us pitching in we can get it dialed in for next week!

Track is pumped out and drying. We’ll be able to start working to put it back together tomorrow. We’ll be out there starting at 5 & could use help! Come on down to lend a hand!

Tropical Storm Hilary definitely left it’s mark on us!! That’s a lot of water!

Unfortunately we will be closed this week. It’s going to take a minute to drain, dry, and repair the track for riding after yesterday’s crazy rainfall (we also have a mandatory work obligation on Thursday night). We’ll be out there working through the week to get out back in order. Thanks for understanding. Hope everyone has a good week!
