Join me at Welcome Summer Festival! I'm sharing a booth with Knot Magick.

Just got the business shirt and hat in today for the Welcome Summer Festival this Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm at the Lake Lansing South Park in Haslet, MI. It will be my first year as a vendor anywhere, so I'm really looking forward to it! I hope to see you guys there!

I haven't posted in a while because a lot has been happening in my personal life. At this time, I am closing the commission slots until further notice. I still have items for sale on hand, and a collection for sale at Keys to Manifestation on Center Street in Lansing MI. However, due to personal and family health issues, I will be taking a break from new orders until things settle down again. Thank you all for sticking around and for all your support!

I forgot to get pictures of the latest batch, lol. The ADHD was strong today, but at least I got them all dropped off at Keys To Manifestation. It might be a little bit before they get priced and put out on display, but I will be getting another batch ready for posting up on Etsy soon. I just got in some adorable new pendants, and some new beads are on the way too.

So far, I have 1 bracelet and 1 matching set done. I'm working on finishing up another necklace currently, and then I'm getting another matching set done, as well as 1 more necklace and 1 more bracelet. All of this batch will be dropped off at Keys tomorrow night to be displayed for sale. These are going to be a mix of Valentine's Day, and Celtic/Viking themed. I will post pictures when the batch is done. 🤟

A couple gift boxes are getting packed up and ready to ship out. There are two more to get ready though. One set is a gift order, so I'm really hoping that the recipient likes the design that was chosen for them. I'm definitely happy with the gift boxes though. The color definitely matches everything perfectly and I haven't had any issues with quality. I just got the bubble mailers and label sheets for the printer yesterday, and I should be sending these on their way before the weekend.

The door poster, business cards, and product label stickers came in yesterday! And I made tags for the necklaces and bracelets that will be up for sale at Keys to Manifestation. I had ordered the business cards before the crap hit the fan with the Square account, so I had to block out that website address. I will be ordering new ones next month. I'm definitely excited about getting all set up though!

By this time next week, I will have a small stock of items available at the Keys To Manifestation shop at 809 Center St #7 off of Oakland right here in Lansing! There will be 3-4 each of premade necklaces and bracelets. I will be including at least one of each with a Valentine's Day/love theme for the upcoming holiday. There will also be business cards available for anyone interested in commissioning a custom order. 🎉🎉🎉As of today, January 9th, 2024, Kari's Creations, LLC is official! The Articles of Organization were filed and accepted! I am really excited that I own my own business now!! There is lots of work to do, but I have a plan and more steps to take to get where I want to be. In the meantime, I'm going to celebrate this important step! 🎉🎉🎉

I can't even describe how livid I am right now. I just found out that Square deactivated my account the same day that I created it, but nothing on the dashboard, or inside my account settings indicated this. I also didn't get the email about it until today because it went to my spam folder.

I kept trying to figure out why my website kept saying that I couldn't accept payments, and I kept checking that all of my settings were correct, which they were. I hadn't even set up the webpage yet on the day that they did this, nor had I loaded any inventory, or taken any payments of any kind. There was literally no reason for the action they took.

I was finally been able to get ahold of someone through their chat function today, but was told to call their customer service line because it was an account problem and not a website issue. So, I figured out what my customer code was and called, just to be told that my account was deactivated. And then, it didn't even give me any options to speak to a human being. It just kept referring me to the email.

So, I had to dig through my email to find it, and the only thing it said was that I violated their policy somehow. It didn't specify how, or give any options for rectification aside from the same number I had already called. I don't think I have ever dealt with such an atrocious business model in my life.

I apologize that this has had a negative effect on people being able to place orders for premade jewelry or custom orders. Please bear with me while I work on setting up with a different company for a website and POS system. Obviously, I will be having to revamp my page here and update all of my information, as well as building an entirely new website and inventory tracker. I hope to have this completed by the end of the week.

Getting stocked up on materials and containers for everything. I'm just waiting for the rest of the leather cord to get delivered now. So far, I've made 6 bracelets to hopefully sell through a friend's store, but we still have to hammer out the details. I will put out a post with the store name and location once things are official. I'm getting excited about the opportunities I've been getting lately, and I'm super grateful for everyone that's been showing support for this page! New necklace/bracelet gift boxes have arrived!!

I will be adding a commission info sheet tomorrow for bracelets. I have had requests for matching bracelets for the necklaces, so I have decided to offer them for individual and matching set sales. Matching sets will be price-bundled at 15% off the total price when ordered at the same time. If ordered at separate times, the bracelet will be 10% off when matched to a prior necklace order.

The silver and blue necklace is made with rhinestone spacers and blue wooden beads, with two stainless steel rune beads and 2 metal barrel beads, with a polished pewter pentacle pendant with blue rhinestones.

The black necklace is made with iridescent rhinestone spacers and amethyst beads with two stainless steel rune beads and two stainless steel filigree tube beads, with a sterling silver and onyx heart pendant.
