Champions of Change Overview

The Champions of Change fan experience takes participants on an immersive, multi-sensory journey designed to educate, evoke empathy and inspire action. Fans who visit learn about the historic intersection of sports and social justice and walk in the shoes of sport stars to hear first-person accounts of the role race has played in their lives. Additionally, fans can demonstrate their commitment to racial equity by learning how to become leaders for social justice in their communities.

Role Description:

The Champions of Change Facilitator will engage fans of all ages and backgrounds in meaningful conversations around the power of sports to unite and improve race relations. The facilitator will also be responsible for engaging participants in the various components of the fan activation. Each facilitator will be responsible for a specific area within the activation.

Time commitment:

Wednesday, February 7th – Friday, February 9th
2:45pm -8pm
Saturday, February 10th, 2023
10am-10pm
First shift (10am -4pm)
Second Shift (4pm- 1pm)

Requirements
- Must be able to lift 20 LBS.
- Must be able to stand for extend periods of time.
- Passionate about social justice
- Passionate about education
- Enjoys having conversations around history and community engagement.

20/hr

RISE is a national nonprofit that educates and empowers the sports community to eliminate racial discrimination, champion social justice, and improve race relations.

RISE looking for interested students (young adults/adults) to work an event during Super Bowl Week February 7-10, 2024. The pay is $20 per hour. See the attached job description.
