As a mother and doula, articles like this are always right on time and can never be shared enough! After all these years, I still stand by my strategy...

“Don’t overwhelm yourselves,” Flynn says. “My strategy was to compare at least three brands of everything. That way I wasn’t too overwhelmed with the options available. But I did enough due diligence to feel comfortable in my choices.”

Let's Face It: Shopping While Pregnant Can Be Scary - Consumer Reports It can be stressful choosing everything for your baby. It's probably impossible not to freak out sometimes. We talked to experts about mitigating anxiety.

Another Maternal Mental Health Advocacy Day in the books and we had incredible team members, leaders, and staffers, and of course coordination from the Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance team! 🤗

This is my 3rd year volunteering and this year was probably the best! The staffers were very engaged in the sessions.

I’m proud to be in the state of NV where:

- Congressman Horsford has been an advocate and champion of maternal health for years now as a member of the National Black Maternal Health Caucus AND the Pro-Choice Caucus

- Senator Rosen has also been a champion of maternal health initiatives in the state of Nevada as well as instrumental in the Data Mapping to Save Moms’ Act, which will use data to identify areas where we can improve access to broadband and telemedicine to get moms (specifically in rural areas) access to healthcare services they need.

Theres always more work ahead, but we’ve made a lot of progress so far
