The Master of Science in Astronomy program prepares students for careers in Astronomy or Astrophysics research or university teaching. Each student has a custom program created by their advisor and committee. This program offers two paths: a coursework option with graduate-level classes and an exam, or a thesis option where students conduct and report on research.
This program takes 30 credits to complete. The deadline to apply for the spring of 2025 semester is August 15th. You can find more information by clicking the link in our bio!
The Master of Science in Physics program teaches students how to conduct and report on research, while Ph.D. students develop the skills to perform this work independently. Each student benefits from a personalized program designed by their advisor and committee.
