A truly tragic day in Las Vegas… 3 people were shot & killed on campus at the University of Nevada Las Vegas just before noon.
Per ABC News, the deceased gunman has been identified as 67-year-old Anthony Polito. Sources say Polito had applied for a position at the university but was denied the job.

The Nevada Highway Patrol has released these images of the two State Troopers who were killed in the line of duty on November 30, 2023.
Sergeant Michael Abbate joined the Department in December 2013 and was recently promoted to Sergeant in November 2023.
Trooper Alberto Felix became a part of the Department in January 2019. Prior to his service with the Highway Patrol, Trooper Felix honorably served in the United States Air Force.
May they rest in peace. 🙏🏼

It’s a sad day in Las , and the state of Nevada. Our thoughts are with the friends and families of these troopers and the Nevada State Police.
Please remember to always thank and appreciate the members of law enforcement who protect and serve our community. They put themselves on the line every day.

Breaking: Arrest made after two Nevada State Troopers killed on I-15 near Washington Ave. Two Nevada State Police troopers were killed Thursday morning when they stopped to help a driver and were hit by a car on I-15, state police officials said. This is a developing story.
