Say Hi to Emma 👋🏽, the GM at our Riverdale location! Emma started with us during college as a team member, and now, four years later, she’s leading the Riverdale team! When she’s not at Mo’ Bettahs, she’s spending time with her dog, friends, family, and her amazing husband. She also loves baking and cooking, always whipping up something delicious. Her go-to plate lunch is the Mini Plate with 2 scoops of white rice, teri steak, and katsu chicken. Come in and say hi 👋🏽 and enjoy a delicious plate lunch - we’d love to see you!

From military rations to a favorite Hawaii staple, Spam Musubi is a beloved and popular snack, that is part of life in Hawaii and truly represents the melting pot of the different cultures living there.

You can often find Spam Musubi in kids' lunches and convenience stores across the 50th state. Nicknamed the “Hawaiian Energy Bar” for its portability, it originated during World War II when military men traded Spam with locals. Japanese locals added Spam to their traditional style making of musubi, giving rise to the iconic Spam Musubi. ✨

The classic Spam Musubi features fried Spam, sticky white rice, and nori (seaweed). Over time, variations like teriyaki Spam, Spam with egg, and chicken katsu musubi emerged. No matter how you enjoy it - Spam Musubi will always be a favorite! 🤙🏽

✨Mo’ Bettah Steaks ✨ Who remembers that? We thought steak would be our most popular meat choice, so it was included in the name. It soon became clear that we actually sold a lot more chicken than steak. 😂 Our first customers in Bountiful, Salt Lake, and Logan kept saying “I got to get me some Mo’ Bettahs!” We loved it! Thanks to you we are now “Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food.” 🤙🏽

As we reminisce the good old days of when Mo' Bettahs first opened, we want to take you back to when our founders Kimo and Kalani, along with members of their family, built plates in a very small kitchen in Bountiful and Salt Lake City, UT. Since 2008, we've grown to over 55 stores across 7 states and over 1200 amazing team members. 🙌
