No official representatives of the court will call to solicit money for any purposes.

The court never calls or e-mails people to get personal information such as their social security number.

Those who receive these e-mails or call should not respond and are advised to contact the Attorney General’s office.

Nevada friends, today is the last day of early voting in the primary elections. If you haven't voted yet, there is still time to get to the polls. There are no lines! You can get in and out in a matter of minutes.

If you didn't early vote, please make sure you vote on Primary Election Day, Tuesday, June 11. Your votes matter in deciding which candidates go on to the general election in November. We've had several elections that have been decided by just a few votes.

In light of the tragic shooting on the campus of UNLV, Clark County recognizes the public’s desire to want to help those impacted, especially the families of the victims. The Las Vegas community continuously steps up to help those struggling in difficult times. It is, however, important to only make donations to vetted and reputable entities.

In working with UNLV the UNLV Foundation and the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center (VSRC), the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center has set up a fund to accept donations for families of victims who died in the incident and to help those who suffered severe physical injuries. The donation link, https://vegasstrongrc.org/donate/, is on the VSRC’s website at www.vegasstrongrc.org for anyone interested in contributing to the fund.

“We know many people want to show support for families of victims after a tragedy like this by offering a financial donation that can be used for any specific need they may have,” said Tennille Pereira, director of the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center, which is managed by the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. “There are no administrative fees associated with the fund we have established. All donations will be distributed to victims’ families.”

Anyone suffering from emotional impacts related to the incident is encouraged to reach out to the VSRC for support. The center is a hub for providing community resources and experienced in helping people find trauma-informed care following incidents of mass violence. The center can be reached by calling (702) 455-AIDE (2433) or 1-833-299-2433 for callers outside Nevada. It is located at 2915 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite 100. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Information about its services, including an online intake form, are available on its website.
