It was an exciting night for 'Aviators Kids Night Out' at the ballpark!
Summerlin Rotary was a proud sponsor and helped to support children in our community.
Thank you, Kimberly Mears Alexander for providing the photos.
Thank you, Dr. Michael Gitelis, orthopedic surgeon for speaking at our breakfast meeting on Sept 3, 2024.

Multiple High Schools competed at all levels of girls and boys. Several of our Rotary Members look forward to volunteering every year as course workers. Photos compliments of David Orbie Padgett. Thank you!
I believe he was one pin shy of a strike. Great job, Dave!
Such a fun night, Tues. Aug. 27, 2024 at Summerlin Rotary Club's mixer at Red Rock Lanes, Red Rock Casino. Our President, John Rizzo, had the best socks to wear with his bowling shoes! Some of these Rotarians surprised us with a strike or two!
Ronnie hitched a ride with Carlo Meguerian in his backpack. Video's to come later.
How exciting is this?! Summerlin Rotary Club's first recipient from our book machine at McMillan Elementary. Let's all give her a big cheer! 👏👏👏
Our new Summerlin Rotary member, Carlo Meguerian, has been 'gifted' Ronnie Summers, for a 2 wk stay. It's hard not to like Ronnie no matter how much trouble he gets in. 😉 Have fun you two!
Thank you, Randy Pote, for a great presentation on the Rose Parade and why we participate. We learned about how our Rotary float is built, the fun and memorable experience that comes with it. We had a special guest, a Rotary foreign exchange student, staying with his American Mom, Allison Hartsoe. Kimberly Alexander had her craft talk and Q&A from Matt Engle.
Thank you,, Lourdene Duquaine Schutte, for these awesome pics from todays 'Just one Project'. Thank you to all the Summerlin Rotarians who volunteered!
Ronnie Summers came with Jason and Amy Herbison. He has been staying with them since the last breakfast meeting.

If you missed our Rotary Club of Summerlin meeting June 18th, here are some pics showing this great presentation from Bill Marion, principal and partner of Purdue Marion & Assoc Public relations. It was a sad day as Steve Findley facilitated his last meeting as President. I don't think HE was that sad. 😉 All kidding aside, it was bittersweet.
Some highlights from this morning’s The Just One Project pop-up. Good people doing good things while having a good time.

Summerlin Rotary Service Above Self
Our Rotary Club was founded in 1997 to serve the Summerlin Community. Pictured above is a shot from our “Pars for Polio” party held at the home of Jim and Cam Camburn. We had Perth, Australia visitors on a Rotary Vocational Technical program in attendance as well as Ed Castillo from Rotary in the Philippines. Also attending were a Polio Survivor and her family. She gave a touching rendition of her life with Polio and thanked us for what we are doing. Summerlin Rotary welcomes members who want to make our community and world a better place to live through the efforts of our Club and Rotary International. Networking and enjoying each other is also an important part of our Club. There are several levels of membership available. Everyone is welcome to attend our events and meetings. For more information about membership contact our Membership Chair, Dave Padgett, 702-465-4525 or Linda Davis, 702-808-7743.
