I’m so grateful any time spent with alyssa and Gavin but this week has been extra special. Although I have called alyssa my sister in law for years and she has felt more like a best friend than family, it’s now official official. Watching them celebrate surrounded by the people who love them the most in Costa Rica has been pure magic ✨ I love you both so much 🤍

You’re three. You amaze me everyday with how wonderful of a human you are growing to be . You’re funny, loving, kind and a little ocd - haha. You have made my life more joyful than I ever thought was possible. I use to fear the future but you make me excited, I can’t wait to see all the cool things you have in store for us . I love this kid so much, he’s the coolest person I know. Being his mom is the greatest privilege in the world. Happy 3rd birthday my baby boy 🤍

We have the most magical life together and our love for each other is so special. I never knew that someone could love me like he does. What’s crazy is - I’m not very confident in much, but the one thing I’ve always been confident in is how much I love him and how much he cares about me. There are so many wonderful experiences, lessons, sweet moments and words I would love to share with the world about us but it’s simply too long and we all know that I love to tell a detailed story :)

BUT I wanted to make sure and share these words today because it’s our 12 year wedding anniversary and I just love the crap out of this guy. I’m so thankful I get to live my life and grow old with him 🤍

This girl and my memories with her deserved a permanent spot on here, especially since today is one of my best friends day of birth!

Happy birthday to the friend who I’ve traveled to the most countries with, who has been on a sports teams with me, who has helped me and supported me in my journey to becoming a mentor, leader, educator and winning a nationwide competition. You will always have a permanent bedroom in my house, be the best breakfast date and wedding hair partner in crime.

You know me better than most my girl. You have seen me through so many seasons of my life and always allows me to be truly my goofy self, with no judgement. I love you more than most anyone could ever know. You are not only a wonderful friend to me but to anyone who has ever encountered you. Ill forever call you a ray of sunshine ☀️. so many memories were made this month and I also have never dressed up so much in my life.

we did disneyland, saw lots of friends, concerts, went through old photos I have seen didnt before my mom passed, workout competitions, preschool 😭, some pretty brutal colds and lots of giggles!

On my last week of the month working at my first salon 🥲🤍 I hate knowing I don’t get to work here for a whole month but I also get so excited to work over at . Wildflower is truly so special, it’s so intimate but cozy. It truly feels like what I dreamt of . A little salon you would see alongside a beach ( just missing the beach) .

This week marks Wildflowers 5th year being open. I’ve heard recently that only 50% of businesses make it that far.

There’s a whole lot of love and work that was put into our brand, our team, this space, the core values of how we run our salon , and our structure and strategies ( this is 75% my husband ) .

When I say “WE” , I don’t don’t mean just Jeremy & myself. I mean the people on our team who helped make our vision come to life from the beginning, Our team helped us create fundamentals in our day to day, gave ideas, helped one another, loved each other for flaws and strengths, set an example to new team members, they made it a place where hairstylist desired to work.

I really have so many people to be thankful for in the success of Wildflower. I hope you all know who you are.

Mostly grateful to my husband for being a dreamer like me but waaaay more entrepreneurial and financially savvy 😜. I’d be spending all the moniessss and probably have unsolved problems without anyone to give me advice and confidence without him.

I saved the best for last. I looovveeee an adventure, anything that’s challenging, even better. My only regret was not standing up on my board sooner. We did this with .sup - we loved everything about it and ended it by eating at their family restaurant ( which was one of my favorite eateries the whole trip)
