Every child that walks through our doors during our Smarts & Smiles event gets a backpack full of school supplies! We are in need of fun elementary backpacks for our kiddos. If you would like to donate backpacks, please feel free to contact us or drop by the House. We kindly ask that all donations are dropped off by July 5th.❤️ 🏡 🎒

Our 10th Annual Smarts & Smiles Back To School Dental Care Fair is back at the House on July 8th - 12th! Free dental services and education aboard the RMHC Care Mobile, in partnership with Nevada Health Centers, will be offered.

Also, every child will leave with a cool, fun backpack FULL of school supplies to get them ready for the upcoming academic school year! Other services like vision screenings and nutritional education will be available as well. Be sure to book your appointment today! ❤️ 🏡 🎒 ✏️

This past Saturday, got together with and created a beautiful mural at the basketball court! Thank you, Red Shoe Society, for contributing to an inviting and fun place for our families at the new House. ❤️ 🏡

At just 10 weeks old, our superhero, Jaxon, was diagnosed with coarctation of the aorta. The large blood vessel that leads to the heart was too narrow to pump blood throughout his body. He was rushed from Reno to Las Vegas for immediate open heart surgery.

Panic overcame his mother, Desiree, and she not only was worried about her son, but also concerned about where they're going to stay, how they're going to eat, or how she would have access to the necessities her family needed to get through the most trying time of their lives.

A social worker at the hospital made a call to the Ronald McDonald House in Las Vegas, and she had a room as soon as she arrived through RMHC's front doors. Desiree was able to stay by Jaxon's side the entire month and a half while he was recovering in the hospital. With his family by his side, this little superhero was able to overcome one of the biggest obstacles no one expected him to face.
