The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) 2023 Global Gender Gap Index,
benchmarking gender equality across 146 nations, ranked the North
American region second in progress globally, after Europe’s top spot. At
the current pace, it would take 95 years – almost another century – to
bridge the gender gap in North America (and at least 131 years
worldwide). https://bit.ly/3KmlpAg

Let’s beat this all-too-accurate projection! This isn’t just a paper goal; it’s a commitment to equality and opportunity for all. Together, let’s dedicate ”the full power of human creativity,” in the words of the WEF, to forging a future where gender does not limit potential but enhances diversity, innovation, and pathways to shared prosperity.

The words of an AANHPI Trailblazer: “Life is hard! But the one thing that gets me out of bed is just persevering. I know that I can't give up; I have to keep going. I want to set a precedent for other girls and women that you can go after your wildest passions, that nothing can stop you, and you can achieve whatever success means to you if you just keep going, even when others are telling you no.” – Michelle Yin - CTO AND Co-Founder, Discz Music

At the 2024 Women's Leadership Conference you'll have the opportunity to connect with a dynamic network of inspiring women leaders and discover powerful leadership strategies. This acclaimed conference helps women leaders harness the tools and tips to take control of their future, own their power, and achieve their ambitions.

And this year, we’ve devised a new theme to capture the driving spirit in which we are gathering this year: we're taking charge with a new sense of purpose, claiming our opportunities, and owning our voices to make our marks – recognizing that our careers, our relationships, and our lives are Ours To Own.

As Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Month, May celebrates and honors the heritage, cultures, and invaluable contributions of these diverse communities to the American mosaic. Integral to this rich history are the countless AANHPI women trailblazers, leaders, and innovators who not only shaped their communities but also continue to power positive change in America.

Witness Kamala Harris, first Asian American United States Vice President: “I was raised by a mother who said to me all the time, ‘Kamala, you may be the first to do many things ‒ make sure you’re not the last.’”
