Today July 11, 2003 marks the 20th anniversary of our association's name change to WKO Shinkyokushinkai.

This past Saturday was another excellent day of promotion at the Las Vegas Dojo. About 30 Karatekas from Las Vegas Warriors Dojo worked very hard to an exhaustive grading test. From the smallest of 6 years to the adults they never gave up.

Vegas Warriors in Montréal at Shihan André Gilbert Dojo.

This past Sunday two of the USA dojos, led by their respective instructors, participated in the World Oyama Tournament (Fighters Cup) in San Francisco. WKO Shinkyokushin USA had an outstanding participation bringing a total of over 22 trophies. Winning 10 different divisions. I want to congratulate the instructors Sensei Sholin from EMA Dojo in Los Angeles and Sempai Leo Liuzza from Vegas Warriors dojo in Las Vegas for the excellent work with their students and to all the members and family members for the great support.

I am very proud of all your efforts, achievements, results and the development of WKO in the USA.

It's official. WKO Shinkyokushin is now in Colorado Springs, CO. Thanks to everyone who made this possible. Today was the first official training that featured the participation of some of the Las Vegas Warriors Dojo students and instructors.

Soon we will be offering more information for those interested in training and being part of this new Dojo.

This past weekend the Las Vegas Dojo hosted two events for the SHINKYOKUSHIN Region of the USA. Friday there was a technical training for advanced students led by the experienced instructor of the Los Angeles California Dojo Sensei Sholin. Members of the Atlanta, NJ, California and Las Vegas dojos participated with great attendance. This in preparation for the next day (Saturday) that the Shodan test was held for two of the Atlanta dojo members. The ShoDan Test was led by Sempai Tommy IIshiba instructor from the Atlanta dojo and supervised by Sensei Luis Torregrosa Branch Chief of USA, Sensei Sholin of EMMA Dojo California and Sempai Leo Liuzza Instructor from Las Vegas Dojo.
