Red Rock Trivia takes place at the Red Spring Picnic Area, so no entry fee or advance registration is required. We will start at 6:00 pm and finish by 7:30 pm. Food and non-alcoholic drinks are welcome.

Join us under the stars at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area for an unforgettable night of celestial wonder. Just after midnight on Monday, August 12 – 1:00-2:00 am – the Bureau of Land Management invites you to the Late Night Parking Area off Highway 160 for the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower.
Whether you're a seasoned astronomer or just starting to look at the night sky, this event is for you. Bring your blankets or chairs to lounge comfortably as you watch nature's fireworks ignite above. No telescopes or binoculars are needed, but don't forget a red headlamp to preserve everyone's night vision.
Don't miss out on this stellar spectacular! Mark your calendar, gather your friends and family, and get ready for a different kind of Las Vegas nightlife. We hope to see you there!

A huge thank you to the kind visitor at Red Rock Canyon NCA yesterday, who called and alerted the Rangers about a golden eagle in distress by Ice Box Canyon. After many hours of observation, a fantastic team of RRCNCA Rangers, the RRCNCA Wildlife Biologist, and NDOW determined the best course of action was to transfer the eagle for care.
