Nuk Soo Muay Thai

It’s been a few days since our last round of fights and I just wanted to say how proud I am of all of our guys who have stepped into the ring or cage to fight for Nuk Soo Muay Thai. But also proud of the men and women who come to class and participate and help get our fighters ready to defend our gym. We’ve proven we can hang with much bigger gyms than ours including the legendary Kaensak Muay Thai, Saratoga elite Academy of martial arts, Sukhti Muay Thai and zmma, B52 Muay Thai, Combat Fitness and MMA and others. Win lose or draw I’m beyond proud of Isaiah Gonsalves Mike Pinchook Declan Dunn, Jose Candelario, Eric Manny, Trey Smith, and Xavier Delatorre for representing our gym in the ring and in the cage to the best of their abilities. Thank you all. You make your coach very proud.

Mike Pinchook Isaiah Gonsalves and Jose Canderlario had their fights for Elite Fighting Promotions tonight. They all did great. Isaiah stuck exactly to the game plan and moved and countered and did a great job against Kevin Flynn. I talked to Kevin after and he’s such a nice dude. He’s gonna come and train with us and I’m sure he’ll be a great addition to our class while maintaining his home base at Suhkti. Jose fought and it was a little bit of a size mismatch. Jose had about seven inches of height and reach on Elijah and came out with a standing TKO. Tough go for Elijah but he’s a tough kid. I’m sure he’ll come back stronger next time. And then there was Mike. Mike was doing his thing. Keeping the jab in Terrence’s face and throwing combination. Round 1 was close. Then in round two he got caught with and overhand right. He went down on his butt not his back and got up and the ref stopped it. Honestly I know Mike better than the refs and knew he could’ve fought on but the refs have the safety of fighters in mind. He’ll be back stronger than before. 2-1 tonight and the record of the gym is now 5-3-1. Onward and upward. So freaking proud of my guys for what they did tonight. See you all in class Monday. Thank you to Golden Era Muay Thai Championship for allowing us to represent Nuk Soo Muay Thai on your show. I thought we had a great showing. Isaiah lost a very close split decision that many people thought should have gone the other way. Trey battled his opponent to a majority draw. We didn’t get any wins, but we came as close as you possibly can to winning without actually winning. And we won over the fans who were solidly behind our opponents. Thank you for having us and we can’t wait to come back.

Super proud of Xavier, Mike and Declan for representing Nuk Soo Muay Thai last night. Xavier had a rough go but will come back stronger and better. Mike and Declan picked up the hard fought unanimous decisions. All in all we came out with more wins than losses and everyone fought their hearts out. In the end, what more could a coach ask for?
