Reminiscing on all being together and having fun while doing what we love!! Not the whole team but the all of us at Salon Noir want to let all of our amazing clients know how much we miss all of you!!😩 As time goes on and we are still uncertain how long this will last we will be holding off on scheduling and rescheduling appointments until we get a guaranteed date that we can reopen. We want to remind you this is the perfect time to make your hair more healthy by not washing as often(making sure your still brushing everyday to distribute natural oils to the ends), stay away from heat, do some deep conditioning masks, don’t go to bed with wet hair. As far as color goes there’s a ton of root touch ups if you would like a recommendation feel free to send us a message! Also a good alternative is eyeshadow with a damp brush to blend in those roots!! Use this time to try some braided styles, zigzag parts, or add lots of volume to your roots which will all help camouflage those roots growing in, wear those cute hats and headbands that you have laying around! Also if you have any wigs that you’ve been dying to play with or try and have trouble wearing them send us a message and Alison O. She was a Goldwell educator on top of working and teaching for other major companies in the industry. She has training by Vidal Sassoon, certified in Keratin Complex, SoCap extensions, CHI thermal straightening, as well as Borboleta Eyelash Extensions. Kimberly loves taking her time to perfect her craft and pays very close attention to detail!

Everyone say hey 👋🏼 to Master Stylist, Jen! You know how people say your stylist is like your therapist? Well in this case it's true! Jen has been in the industry since 2006 and she has done it all!! From extensive training with Aveda in coloring, balayage and cutting, a winner of Art on Lark Hair Show and Competitions, participation in multiple fashion weeks, including working with Calvin Klein! Jen has been a lead stylist & artist for musicals, and organized and led fashion shows to donate proceeds to Earth Month!! Now Jen enjoys catering to her clients from behind the chair while simultaneously completing her education to become a Licensed Master of Social Work-where she has decided to exclusively working with Military Veterans and their families!!❤️🙌🏼

Wanted to post something a little different... so let’s talk about corrective cutting, and why consultations are so important! This client came in thinking she needed more layers and that something was wrong with her hair bc it wasn’t curling and styling the right way....through a thorough consultation Alison made it aware that her cut was not even from previous stylist and that was what was causing her difficulties not that her hair was difficult or she was doing something wrong. She also suggested growing out some of the layers because she didn’t have a strong perimeter and had wholes in the bottom....instead of doing a huge chop to fix this cut they agreed to even it out as much as possible and keep up with scheduled cuts to gradually get to the perfect cut and style for her!🙌🏼 we will post more pics of this process as it continues so stay tuned!!
