Luke and Jake got hitched this week, and we're beyond happy for them. Luke is the best of the best with a heart full of love, empathy and compassion. He’s earned every bit of happiness that comes with marrying his partner.

We're also excited to officially welcome Jake into our family - we're a tight-knit group, and he's a great addition!

We definitely love these two and are excited for their journey together.

Allie's plant obsession has grown like a w**d over the years, and honestly, our store wouldn't be thriving without her green thumb!

But Allie's awesomeness extends way beyond just plants - she's a superhero for animals, a gaming master, a music ju**ie, a National Parks enthusiast, and a lover of all things family and friends, all while being ridiculously smart and witty - we adore all the quirks that make her, her!

Since the cat is out of the bag and everyone knows that Luke is leaving Laurel, we want to reassure everyone that our doors will remain open. Allie has been expertly handling day-to-day operations for months, ensuring a seamless transition.

Of course ,we will miss Luke, but he plans to stay involved as much as he can from his new location and plans to come back as often as possible.

Today’s spotlight plant is the Psederanthemum “Stainless steel” plant!

These plants have woody stems with a mix of green, silver, and white leaves. They prefer moist, well draining soil. They love bright to medium indirect light. They prefer to be fertilized once a month in the summer and spring and once every other month in the winter months.

These are a stunning addition to any plant collection! Very easy to care for and gorgeous to look at!

Fun Ficus facts! 🪴

This is the Ficus Shivereana “Moonshine”. It is one of MANY different varieties of Ficus. This particular variety was first discovered in Belgium in 1959! The ficus genus itself was first discovered in 1493!

These plants are so gorgeous and are very easy to care for! They love bright indirect light and water when 98% dry! They love well draining soil and fertilizer once a month in the spring and summer months!

Three years ago today Luke took me to Lowe’s to get him a plant and I decided to join in on the plant fun! This is where my plant obsession began, I took so many pictures of this fiddle and stared at it for hours checking it for new growth! I still have the same excitement anytime I bring any new plant home!

I never thought that this one little plant would turn into a full blown obsession and a whole plant store! I don’t think it will ever fully sink in that this is my life!
