Official page of Second ACTS ABC (Adventist Community Thrift Store / Adventist Book Center) of the New Jersey Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Inc.
Second ACTS ABC is the retail thrift and food store of the New Jersey Conference Adventist Community Services Department. All proceeds generated help support the operation and development of programs for the community that are free of charge. Currently, Adventist Community Services provides free food assistance to approximately 200 qualified families through our Food Pantry program.
Today, now until 2pm sidewalk sale. Please stop by and visit us. Neighbors have joined us as well, so it's a great time to meet and greet!

Thank you to Morristown English SDA church for donating food to our pantry and bringing us personal care kits to distribute to those in need. It's support like this that helps keep us motivated to continue the work we do.

A Taste of Trenton

This month of May, our pantry served 569 households. Thank you for your continued support to make what we do possible.
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! ACS sidewalk sale. Couldn't do it without these awesome people. The guys are camera shy. 😆
Yesterday, ACS broke our previous record and served 135 households within the 4 hour period our pantry was open.
Due to severe thunder storms our yard sale is canceled today. We will try again next Thursday. Have a wonderful, safe, and blessed Memorial Day weekend!
Record breaking number of clients served today: 118 within the 4 hours our pantry was open today.
Due to expected showers we have cancelled today's sidewalk sale. Hopefully, it will be nice next Thursday. We hope to see you then!

Last month, our food pantry served over 650 households, which is over 2400 adults and children.
Although we appreciate donations, we've come to recognize that the most precious thing you can give anyone is your time. Please consider volunteering with a local charity in your area and dedicating a set amount of time to connect with those in your community. Let's build better communities together, one neighbor at a time because together we are better.

Due to worsening weather and road conditions and for the safety of our volunteers, we have decided to close today, Tuesday, February 13th.
The conference office is closed today due to inclement weather. However, ACS will be open on a limited schedule to assist those in need of our community food pantry. Please call ahead 609218565.
Self serve beverage station is set up. Stop by for a cup of tea or to leave your prayer request, praise, comment on our bulletin board.
Thank you to one of our regular customers for donating a brand new electronic kettle to support our vision.
January 2024 ACS food pantry served 581 households. A total of 1299 adults plus 879 children. 2178 people.
Please continue to pray for our ministry and your support helps keep us going. We not only give them supplemental food, but often listen, converse, and pray with our clients. They have inspired us to do better because each heart matters.
2 months late, but finally finished the coffee/tea station for ACS. One step closer to building a stronger community one cup, one conversation, and one friend at a time.
