Marion County Rescue
Marion County Rescue is comprised of a group of individuals dedicated to the service of the citizens
Marion County Rescue has been working on a project in cooperation with Lebanon Tourism to install Mile Markers on the 3 sections of rivers ( North Fork, South Fork, and Rolling Fork) in Marion County. We have designed and received our markers. Over the next several months we will be installing these in their proper GPS mapped locations. This is a big project with there being just over 60 miles of river in the county. Just another tool to get people help more quickly in the case of an emergency. GN

Latest update to possible flooding this weekend.
Ground already has a lot of saturation which could lead to possible flooding with this system. If you encounter flooded areas or roadways, Turn around, don't drown. It's not worth the risk.
Waves of moderate to heavy rainfall will ride along a stalled frontal boundary across our region Friday night through Saturday. As this occurs, 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is expected with locally higher amounts up to 4". This could lead to rises on area creeks and streams, and some flooded roadways. Use caution if traveling for the holiday. Don't drive into flooded roadways, and pay special attention at night.
This is not something normally shared this late in the year but, the more you know, the safer you can be.
⚠Severe weather to come Friday night into Saturday morning, know where to go if a🌪tornado warning is issued in your area. Keep your phone or radio near your bed and act quickly if a warning is issued.
