Last, and most certainly not least, we have the Lebanon Quilters Guild. When we decided to move the show from Lancaster to Lebanon this guild was our first phone call. We knew we wanted to work closely with them to showcase the work of the members of their guild. The Lebanon Quilters' Guild will have a large quilt display in the main hall, as well as raffle baskets and more!
The Lebanon Quilters Guild is a diverse group of quilters meeting in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. We meet at the Cedar Crest Middle School. Our meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 6:30 pm, unless otherwise noted on the calendar.
We are proud to present well-known guest speakers at our meetings as well as showcase the amazing talent of our guild members. We offer many ways to forge new friendships and to inspire the creativity of our members through workshops, Saturday bees, community service projects, guild challenges and our always wonderful show-and-tell.
We also enjoy each other’s company and swap sewing secrets during both our annual November and March weekend retreats in the woods. Our ever-growing Quilt Show at the Lebanon Expo Center is held in November.
We invite all quilters from beginners to experts to attend our meetings and join our quilt family as we learn, teach, and share our love of quilting.

Diane Phalen likes to say "I quilt with my paintbrush." Diane is not an actual quilter but has made hundreds of quilts - not with needle and thread - but with paintbrushes, watercolor paint, and paper. Having always loved to draw and paint, Diane spends a lot of time in nature observing the changing seasons, flowers, birds, and wildlife and committing them to canvas
Diane hopes to convey the emotion she sees in nature and the beauty of quilts with their colors and patterns. Each painting takes many long hours, even as long as up to two months to complete. Though her main medium is watercolor, through the years Diane has experimented with some acrylic paints, ink, and watercolor pencils - anything to achieve the desired effects. Diane's unique technique includes applying layer upon layer of watercolor to achieve deep, textured hues. For a special effect, she even adds tiny stitches to the quilts with her paintbrush! New~ I now have fabric panels of my art that can be used in quilting, pillows, tote bags and home decor.

Our third quilt exhibit will be by the Red Rose Quilters Guild of Lancaster County.
The Red Rose Quilters Guild is an organization with the goal of promoting the art of quilting in its many forms through an active program of education and study. To this end, the Guild provides lectures, hands-on workshops, and educational programs on a variety of subjects relating to quilts and quilting at its regular monthly meetings.
In addition, the Guild and its members seek to maintain the tradition of many quilters who historically have provided items of warmth and comfort to those around them by making quilts for a variety of shelters and other organizations in need.
Our meetings are informative and fun, while providing a place for fellowship with others who share the love of quilting. We offer outstanding workshops at rates much lower than at other venues as well.
We have nationally known speakers, an extensive library, the Weekly Web News (WWN), a weekly email newsletter filled with events and tips, smaller groups within the Guild where you can get to know other Guild members, and participation in our monthly Red Rose Studio Sessions as well as membership to our page.
We have about 130 members of all ages and levels of quilting skills. Many members are just learning how to quilt. We have contemporary fiber artists and craftswomen as well as the traditionalists who hope to preserve our quiltmaking heritage here in Lancaster County.

Quilter's Rule started in 1983 producing the quilting industry's first "fabric gripping" ruler. The Quilter's Rule signature ruler was designed to be used with a rotary cutter. Quilter's Rule has since designed many rulers with the same "fabric gripping" technology.

Today we are welcoming another new vendor, Free-motion Mastery in a Month/ RaNae Merrill Quilt Design from NYC, NY.
The Simple Step-by-Step Learning System for Machine Quilting Success!
Free-Motion Mastery in a Month draws on my 25 years experience as a piano teacher to bring you the simplest, most effective system ever for learning or improving free-motion quilting skills. Free-Motion Mastery in a Month breaks down the process of learning free-motion quilting into individual skills. You learn each skill separately, then put them together for quilting success. There are 31 guided daily lessons. Each lesson contains three types of exercises: Tracing, Drawing and Quilting. Each exercise plays a different and important role in mastering free-motion quilting.
Because you're practicing the right things, the right way, in the right order, you really can learn to do free-motion quilting in as little as a month.
Free-Motion Mastery in a Month

We have a last minute addition to our free lecture series. Jane Singer from Needle Wielders has been kind enough to step in and lecture after one of our lecturers had to cancel. Join us in welcoming her! Her lecture "Assembling Your Quilt With the Easy Complete Quilt Template System" will be held Saturday 4/13 from 12:30-1:30.
Easy complete quilt is a fun way to cut and assemble the back of a quilted project. Our process uses lined backs. The way we line each quilt block is special. We use quilter's fleece to line our quilt blocks. This would be a bad idea if you did not use our special template to make a pattern. Our blocks are engineered so the back & lining fit together and the quilt fleece will not roll to the outside. There is no need for additional batting. All the quilt backs are sewn to one another using a sewing machine and the stitches are hidden. There is no need for hand sewing or exterior stitches to join blocks to one another. Folding the edges of lined quilt blocks is super easy! Our corners fold neatly out of the way. With our template you can style the back of your quilt. This product is a fun easy way to use scraps of fabrics for backs!
You can sign up for this free lecture here: https://www.aquiltersdestination.com/event-details/lecture-assembling-your-quilt-with-the-easy-complete-quilt-template-system
