I realize it’s a holiday, but Please stay off of the water during the storm today.

Important to know to get to the hospital.
If this storm hits, and the Swatara floods, it is my recollection that the last north/south road to close between Lebanon and FIG, Jonestown, and Fredericksburg is 7th Street.

There is shade on the Trail to the Bordner Cabin. Still, in this heat, take along water for hydration.

For a windshield survey, drive through the 2nd Friday-Saturday monthly; and the 4th Friday and Saturday March, April, September, & October. One Way! Enter from Swope’s Valley Road Trailhead on the northern end of Swatara State Park. PS. The State Park doesn’t allow cars to park at Bordner Cabin, but it’s a short hike from a primitive parking area.
