Yesterday, the 3 fire companies of South Lebanon Township turned the page and entered a new chapter. After more than 2 years of hard work, planning and countless meetings, Judge Kline approved the merger of the 3 companies.
Friendship, South Lebanon Fire Co #1 (previously Hebron and Avon) and Prescott fire companies, have united to form the South Lebanon Fire Department.
There were countless hours spent on this process by the merger steering committee, chaired by Billy Weikel, as well as all of the sub-committee chairs, members, township supervisors and township manager. Thank you to everyone who supported this, worked towards this and had a hand in this.
Excellent things lie ahead and we are all very excited to be a part of this new future.
That's right a Typhoon is forecast to hit South Lebanon Township this year! Will be the first Typhoon in the Township.

Here's another link for LT Lebo. This one is directly through the LT William Lebo Foundation that has been created, by his wife. All proceeds from these shirts go directly to the Foundation. The last link we shared for Honor a Hero Project proceeds from those shirts get donated directly to the Lebanon Police Department in LT Lebo's name/honor. Again this is just being shared to help spread the word, the fire company has nothing to do with either of the fundraisers.

There will be one out in front of our station as soon as we get it. How about every other fire station in the county??? Let's go only a limited number are being made. If you can let's change the page pictures to one with the sign in the front of your station thru the month of May.
LT. LEBO YARD SIGNS FOR SALE - On behalf of Lora and the amazing Lebo family, yard signs to remember Lt. William Lebo and commemorate his service are now available for purchase. Signs are $15 each. 100% of the purchase price goes directly to the William D. Lebo Memorial Foundation. Checks should be made payable to the Foundation itself.
In an effort to help the family and the Foundation during these initial weeks, we offered to aid in the initial sale. Lt. Lebo Yard Signs are currently located at the Lebanon Co. District Attorney's Office - Victim Witness Department (Courthouse - 4th Floor). We have 500 signs for purchase; future efforts and additional sign sales will run directly through the Lt. Lebo Foundation.
As always, our thoughts and prayers remain with Lora, the entire Lebo family, the wounded Officers, and all of our law enforcement during this difficult time.
All proceeds go to the Lebo family.
Ok let's see how well they can handle a large order! Lebanon proved how strong we are during quarantine, being bold and changing our "color" from red to yellow. Now its time for Lebanon to change to blue 💙 and show our support for a fallen officer. Lieutenant Lebo proudly served the citizens of Lebanon City for over 40 years! Very sad to end this way a month before hanging up the uniform for retirement. It is happening way too much across the world, even if you don't live in Lebanon buy a shirt to show your support for the law enforcement.
Lt William Lebo Memorial Shirt PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US, YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL OR TEXT ONCE YOUR ORDER SHIPS THIS IS A PRE-ORDER. THE SHIRTS WILL SHIP AFTER PRODUCTION. Lieutenant Lebo had served with the Lebanon City Police Department for 40 years and was scheduled to retire only 30 days later, on May 1st, 2022. This shir...
