We make bee traps for these guys. Ours have caught several!

You may be noticing the last week carpenter bee activity. In late spring/early summer female carpenter bees bore a perfect circle into wood, they back that ass up and lay their eggs into the channels they bore. In late summer (NOW) those eggs start to hatch and the baby carpenter bees shuffle down the channels and fly out. The babies will not bore, no need for carpenter bee treatments during this time, it is only in late spring and early summer when the females will damage wood and treatment is necessary.

We delivered this massive 8 foot custom farmhouse table, two benches, and two chairs just before the rain hit! It looks beautiful in its new home!💛 Many blessings to the family that sits around this table.

When you’re happy, we’re happy 💛 Our most recent build was this massive 87”x50”x24” pantry. We tried several new techniques and grew in our craft. We love how it looked in its new space.

The surge in lumber cost has hurt small businesses. Unfortunately, the cost increase falls on the consumer. We’ve had project quotes rejected because of the astronomical prices of lumber. It’s hard to compete with big box stores that can turn out MDF material type furniture, because they have a large number of employees and machines that can mass produce.
