Services Affected by CrowdStrike Outage

The CrowdStrike outage has affected the Tax Commissioner’s ability to process vehicle tags and titles. Customers are encouraged to check the Georgia Department of Revenue’s website, https://dor.georgia.gov/, periodically for updates. The Tax Commissioner’s Office can still process property tax payments. We do not have an ETA on a resolution and apologize for the inconvenience.

The offices of the Lee County Board of Commissioners will be closed Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of Independence Day. County offices will reopen Friday, July 5, 2024, for regular business hours. Residential garbage services will be delayed one day for the rest of the week.

Effective August 1, 2024, the following rate increases will be implemented by the Lee County Board of Commissioners. This rate increase is a pass through increase from Express Disposal. The residential garbage rate will increase from $23.00 per month to $24.00 per month. The cost for an additional residential cart will increase from $12.75 to $13.75. Commercial extra pickups will increase from $75.00 to $78.00. Commercial rates will also increase by 4%.
