Compass Community Connections is seeking a full-time Director of Community Integration and Employment Services. The Director is charged with the implementation of the daily operations of Compass Community Connections School Transition Programs and Employment Services and with the recruitment and supervision of the program specialist(s) within the Department in accordance with regulation and upholding the agency’s mission and goals.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1-year work experience working directly with persons with IDD, or
a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years work experience working directly with persons with IDD, or
An Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years work experience working directly with persons with IDD, or
a High School diploma or general education development certificate and 6 years work experience working directly with persons with IDD.

Compass Community Connections has an immediate opening for a Full-time Direct Support Professional to provide Community Participation & Supports for individuals in a licensed Adult Training Facility, as well as, meaningful community activities. Candidate should enjoy working as part of a team and be engaging and willing to provide a variety of supports to enhance the quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Position includes complete benefit package on day one.
Responsibilities include implementing Individual Support Plans, providing some personal care, and supporting each person according to their unique needs. Candidates must be 18 years or older with a High School diploma or equivalent, be eligible for employment in Pennsylvania including a valid social security card, have the ability to complete appropriate paperwork, and must be able to lift. Experience working in this social services field is preferred. Training will be provided.

Looking for a summer job? Come join our team of highly motivated and caring professionals at Compass Community Connections! We are looking for people to join our Summer Rec Program Staff. Our Summer Rec program is an 8-week program for teens with disabilities. Candidates will be working as part of a team to provide fun, creative activities or experiences for the individuals enrolled in this program. This is excellent experience for college students in a field of study related to education or supporting persons with disabilities. A high school diploma and background checks are required. Compass Community Connections currently has a job vacancy for a part-time Early Interventionist with the potential for full-time status. This staff person will work as part of a team to provide home-based specialized instruction for infants and toddlers with developmental delays and diagnosis from birth to three years of age in Huntingdon, Mifflin & Juniata Counties. Candidates should be independent, creative and enjoy working with families. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in early intervention, early childhood education, early childhood special education, child development, special education or family studies and one year of experience working directly with infants, toddlers or preschool children with disabilities and their families or a university supervised or college supervised student practicum or teaching experience with infants, toddlers or preschool children with disabilities and their families OR a Bachelor’s degree that includes at least 15 credits in the mentioned specialties plus one year of experience and demonstrated knowledge in the field. Compass Community Connections is seeking an energetic, motivated, full-time Program Coordinator. Applicant will work in our Transition Program with high school students instructing on work readiness and independent living skills. Candidate will also assist within our Employment Program helping individuals identify career interests and skills, facilitate employment placement and provide coaching to maintain employment.

Applicant must have a clean driving record, proof of auto insurance, pass a criminal background check and complete all required trainings. Ideal candidate will also have experience working with individuals with disabilities and a minimum of an Associates Degree.
