JOB OPENING: SHOP HELPER:
DSD Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented self-motivated General Shop Assistant (Helper) to assist with cleaning & organization for a busy auto restoration & customization facility that has multiple shop spaces within it.
Entry level position. Primary Job Duties: cleaning work bays, daily maintenance, running errands, detailing vintage & exotic show cars as needed, & assisting technicians as needed.

Qualifications:
-Must have valid Driver License & insured vehicle
-Reliable
-Detail oriented
-Self-motivated
-Follow instructions well
-Car detailing experience preferred

DSD Automotive is seeking a vintage automotive service technician to help expand our capacity to maintain and service our client’s car collections. Your job would be to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with these vehicles, and remedy issues by installing replacement parts or performing service. Your attention to detail and passion for the highest quality repairs ensures every car is fit for the road as well as the showroom.

Qualifications:
* 3-5 years' experience in general mechanical
* Familiar with carburetors
* Familiar with distributor ignition systems
* Familiar with valve train adjustments
* Familiar with servicing charging systems

* Experience with clutch replacement
* Experience with retrofitting / servicing fuel injection systems

DSD Automotive is seeking a skilled automotive body technician to help our growing body of work upgrading and repairing classic & exotic cars. Your job would help restore these classic vehicles to their former glory. Your attention to detail, passion for die mold straight coachwork, and Lexus quality panel gaps ensure these vehicles stand head and shoulders above the car show crowd.

Qualifications
* 3-5 years experience working in an automotive shop
* Familiar with working on classic cars
* Experience hanging sheet metal
* Experience disassembling/reassembling classic cars
* Experience removing & reinstalling trim without causing damage
* Experience with rust repair and light fabrication
* Experience aligning door & quarter glass
* Experience working plastic filler
* Experience MIG welding

Nice to have:
* Familiar with paint application
* Familiar with light mechanical
* Familiar with light electrical

Bentley Continental Flying Spur, and a Shelby G.T.500 in front of the shop today.

2017 Range Rover HSE Supercharged, on Genuine Autobiography chrome plated wheels. We did some cosmetic maintenance as well as some enhancements.

Bentley Flying Spur,
we did some cosmetic maintenance on this one, as well as removed some dealer installed items.

2018 Mercedes Benz GLC 300.
We removed the right front door to do Paintless Dent Repair on the front edge. We where able to completely restore the original contours without damaging the original finish, or drilling holes in the panel.

2016 Bentley Continental Flying Spur.
We did some cosmetic maintenance, as well as polished out the side trim. It was semi polished from the factory and that did not meet with the owners taste.

The restored 1987 Nissan Pathfinder 2-Door V6 4x4.
This one is finished in House of Kolor Galaxy Grey.
We took it from a typical well worn 80s SUV, to one of the finest examples in existence today. Projects like this one are a labor of love, as you can not just open a catalog an just order the parts necessary for a restoration.

1965 Temest convertible.
We removed the original inline 6 and the powerglide, and replaced them with a healthy 400ci and a 3 speed automatic out of a Firebird. This one is a sleeper, and has the classic muscle car sound.

Aston Martin db9 Volante.
We swapped out the wheels for staggered chrome, and pin striped the calipers to make them pop.

1996 Corvette LT-4 6-Speed.
We are going to be getting back on this project that has been mothballed for many years. Can't wait to get this one back on the road, the list of modifications is extensive to say the least.

1998 Jaguar XK8 Convertible.
We are replacing the rear wheel bearings, and doing some minor cosmetic maintenance.

GM Performance LSA.
It's always fun to get a new high performance engine in, and uncrate it. We like the effortless performance the Supercharged 6.2 liter V8 offers. "Performance without penalty", is how Cadillac described it.

1941 Ford Pickup. We rebuilt the front suspension, straightened out the cooling system, and did some minor cosmetic maintenance on.

Here is a Mercedes Benz S63 AMG with 9k original miles. We did a paint correction, full detail, serviced and blacked out the wheels.

Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4

Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, doing some cosmetic and mechanical maintenance. Reengineered the rear arm rest mounting, so they would say in place.

1965 Pontiac Tempest Convertible, we did a V8 swap with a warmed over 1972 Firebird 400ci engine.
With Doug's Headders, and Flowmasters it has that muscle car sound that everyone loves. (the entire fuel system is stainless steel, to to withstand the ethanol in our modern fuel)

This is a Mondello cast aluminum valve cover we modified and polished for our Supercharged Oldsmobile 455 project.

The 1954 Chevrolet Thriftmaster 5 window.
We work with our clients down to the smallest detail to insure thier project meets expectation. We made a sample board, so the owner of this truck could choose the most pleasing tone for her bed floor.

2009 G.T.500, we have done extensive upgrades to this one. It has been an ongoing build, with frequent visits to the shop for both service and modifications.
