We are a group open to anyone that enjoys coming together to help out in the community. The projects We have collected personal hygiene items.
Come out and join us as we get together to work to make an impact in our community. So far since we have been doing this (5 years), We have helped to make over 500,000 meals. toiletries, blankets, backpacks, socks and coats for the homeless over the past 5 years and have donated to various shelters around the Denton County, Collin County and Dallas counties. We are currently not meeting each month

Our Story
Come out and join us as we get together to work to make an impact in our community. FYI: We meet every 1st Saturday of the month. So far since we have been doing this (4 years), We have helped to make over 500,000 meals.
Every 1st Saturday, from 8:00am-11:00am at announced locations on each event’s page.
Who Can Come: All adults and young adults, kids 2” taller than the table who can work for 45 minutes—no kids who have to be tended to.
How to Dress: Pull hair back so it doesn't hang in your face or wear ball cap, wear anything you can get bleach spots on.
What to bring (in any combination):
Sliced sandwich bread—one loaf of bread makes 10 sandwiches—cheapest is at Aldi’s, Walmart, and Sam’s
Sliced Bologna—cheapest bologna is at Aldi’s—Walmart, Sam’s and Costco are cheaper than grocery stores
American cheese—Yep, that sliced orange kind.
Tortilla chips—buy the biggest bag you can find
Cookies—sandwich cookies (look for 7-10 cents-a-pound cookies), animal crackers, other cookies, or homemade cookies. For homemade cookies, wear gloves when you take them off the cookie sheet, and wear gloves when you put them in a large zip bag to bring them.
Donations—While sandwiches are being made, someone makes a trip to the store to buy what we are short of. Give donations to Chris before sandwich-making start or donate on this page www.VolunteerNorthDallas.org
Free parking in the parking lot
AT THE END OF THE DAY WE WILL HOPE TO MAKE ENOUGH SANDWICHES TO FEED OVER 5,000 PEOPLE! Looking forward to seeing you.
