Crochet items handmade just for you by Quest Crafts!
Do recent events have other people feeling frazzled like the little orange octopus here? Yeah, saaaame. I've been crocheting like wild to keep my brain from spiraling with pessimism. Trying to stay optimistic!!
I recently got into crocheting fidget toys! Everything pictured here is a fidget toy of some sort (other than the little chicken). There are even fidget keychains! And yes, they've been very helpful with meeting my fidgety needs!
Patterns for the reversible octopus, pop-up mushrooms, keychains, and other various fidgets are from . Will tag the other pattern designers (for mushroom froggy, squid, flower, and chicken) when I find my notes!
Crochet succulent coasters and a cute little pot/container for them! Made for my sister a few months ago π
Trying to come out of hibernation. It isn't easy.
I get overwhelmed with posting anything anymore because there is SO MUCH I want to say, so I just shut down.
So instead of giving an update about life, here's some earrings. I made them a year ago, and it seriously takes that long to get out of my own head sometimes.
...It's been a while...
Depression hit pretty hard around November/December. Then it just continued to get worse. I feel like I'm drowning, I'm overwhelmed.
I lost my mom in June. My first kiddo just started kindergarten. All four of us then caught covid (fortunately the kids handled it fine). The depression and anxiety just aren't going anywhere.
Started therapy right after I lost my mom. Lots of issues to explore there. My therapist pushed me to start crocheting again. I hadn't crocheted a single thing since December maybe? I had projects in-progress and everything that I just dropped.
Crochet used to help me when I felt anxious. It's a wonderful outlet for my anxiety and depression. I finally picked a pattern that was small and just went for it. I thought since it was small, it would be quick. I forgot how much sewing is involved with some of these π
So this little axolotl pattern from is my first project in months. Then had a sale and I had to pick up her pattern for the jellyfish! Fortunately the jellyfish didn't require much sewing - none at all, if I remember correctly! Which is freaking amazing!
Hopefully this will help kickstart a path to healing and self-improvement. I've got a stack of books to read, crochet projects brainstorming, and therapy appointments scheduled.
I have a bouquet of eyes. π
I still have one more to go, then need to sew them onto their body.
Of course once I'm 80% through, I'm reminded that the creature I'm making is not usually blueish colors... so this will be a fun, unique version? π€·π»ββοΈ
If I didn't have baby fever before, I certainly do now!
Here's a cozy pumpkin set I made for my newborn baby cousin! My kids were asking about their baby cousin the entire time I was working on this. And now my 4 year old son wants a baby sibling π€£π
One of my first commissions found their new home last week! β€οΈπ
Two moles with overalls, scarves and hats!
Festive Moles pattern by Gabibo Craft, handmade by me!
Just added to my Etsy shop! Kid's handmade crochet candy corn beanie. Getting ready for the upcoming cozy sweater and hat season!
I've been working on a couple projects. Takes a minute to get back in the swing of things for hats and such after I've been deep in amigurumi lately.
Pumpkin season is on the way! π
It's official! I finally opened my own Etsy shop! I'm in the pumpkins and apples zone right now even though it's 90 degrees outside π₯΅
I'm open to suggestions! What would you like to see? Any requests? I also made some keychains I need to add!

We needed a magic wand for our silliness. One of the kids is always making something disappear, or playing something like from Bluey
And I wanted to make a bee just for fun. Found this pattern from Curiouspapaya and altered it to use the yarn I already have.
Whipped up a strawberry inspired bag today using the Bitty Boho Bag pattern from !
My daughter immediately put one of her little people inside it to carry around. It's just the perfect size for my little 2 year old.

A cuddly mint chocolate chip ice cream cone π¦
Pattern by from the book Crochet Cafe.
Ellie wants pink ice cream, but I don't seem to keep much pink yarn on hand. Got another cone ready to go for when I finally get out of the house and can get pink yarn to finish it.
Happy Sushi from Hooked on Amigurumi by Melanie Morita
My kids are loving these happy little foods! Notice the little toddler hand in the next slide stealing the sushi and immediately hiding it somewhere in the living room π€£
Finished this crochet dress for my daughter! She loves it! It's a little too big right now, but should fit her someday.
Now I need some inspiration for what I could make for my son. All I know is he told me this dress needs more red π
Followed the pattern on .ravelry and added the shells trim on my own.
If anyone has any free crochet patterns for unisex child's clothing, please comment or tag me! Once I'm more confident with crocheting clothing items, I'll venture into the world of paid patterns.
Trying to learn something new today!
My finished Jelly Beanie.
Used a thicker yarn than mentioned in the pattern, so I used the child size instructions. Ended up being child sized anyway, just slightly long due to the bigger yarn and hook, I think. But my kids like it!
Of course they won't wear a hat for longer than 5 minutes, so I can't get a picture of one of them wearing it π
Trying out another new pattern.

Trying out a stitch that's new to me today, the waistcoat stitch!
It feels so cozy!

I received a couple books for Christmas! Started small with the fortune cookie. Then Miles picked the milk carton for me to work on next.
Book says the polyfil will settle, but perhaps I used too much π€
Not super comfortable with amigurumi. But
Finished a new hat! Took a couple patterns and mixed them together because I was having trouble getting either to really work right on their own.
Mostly followed the Lansdowne Toque pattern by
Quite cozy! β€οΈ
My first time using from and can't seem to get the gauge just right. So I frogged all but the majority of the band of a hat I'm making. Now it's a ball.
First time I used my yarn ball winder from that my husband got me for Christmas though! It went so quickly! It's awesome and perfect! Makes it just slightly less painful when frogging a whole hat π
Lazy day. Time to crochet.

Working on my first cable knit stitch hat! It's already so cozy I don't want to take it off when I try it on π
