So 2023 begins, a couple of smalls, 8×10's to start the year.

For the most part I'm going to call this done, it needs some dry time. Alot of white which takes forever to dry. Any thoughts? Thanks for looking.

Finally finished. 15×30 oil on canvas. Friend or foe, sometimes we must decide very carefully. Here it could be a tough decision, is the one on horseback Friend or foe, or the one offering coffee? But wait, no fire and a rifle in waiting. Who would offer cold coffee, you decide. Available.

So I've made some changes along the way with this painting. I think it finally has all come together nicely. A large painting at 24×48 is fun to engage with. A lot of colors and depth. Tap on screen to see details. I call it " On their trail through Broken Rock pass".

Well I signed it, I guess that makes it official. " Circle back ". 23×23 oil on masonite. As the posse rides through the canyon believing they're in hot pursuit, the bandit has already circled back to elude them once again.

Closing in on the grand finally, almost there.

Making good progress, starting to get some depth. Still a way to go.

Just about to let this one sit and dry for a bit. Couple of tiny details left. Think I'm gonna call it " Belly deep in Prairie gold". 24×48 oil on canvas. Hope you all enjoy it.
