Hello! I am an LPP with 14+ years of experience working with a range of mental health issues.
This month, and all the others.
Always ❤️
Many thanks for two great years! I get the extreme honor of working with amazing, resilient, and courageous clients. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with you!
HAPPY NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY!
Starting today, you only need to remember 3 digits to reach a crisis counselor!! Call or text 988 from anywhere in the country to be connected to a crisis counselor.

Hello! I am so glad to be back seeing patients after returning from maternity leave.
YES, I AM ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS! I am still unable to accept insurance and am only providing telehealth services at this time.
Office hours: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00am-5:00pm.
I also want to announce that Lisa Bond Psychological & Allyship Services is officially part of The Woodland Group. While I have been contracting with them for nearly one year, we made the relationship official in January 2022! The Woodland Group is an established practice of psychological providers in Lexington, KY. There are no changes to how my services will be rendered as a result of this partnership. I will remain an independent practitioner and business owner. The hope is that I can offer in-person services in the future for individuals who prefer that setting. You can learn more about The Woodland Group here: https://woodlandgroup.org/
As always, reach out to me in e-mail, phone, or text with any concerns or questions. While I have a phone line with The Woodland Group, you can still contact me at my private business number: 859-594-9919. I will respond within 24 business hours.
If you experience an immediate concern, including thoughts of hurting yourself or someone else, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You may also speak with a crisis counselor by calling 1-800-273-TALK.
Thank you for your patience and understanding with my schedule changes. I look forward to working with you in 2022!

https://www.refinery29.com/en-gb/black-women-adhd-diagnosis-uk.As well as a lack of access to Black therapists, Collins acknowledges the issues within the healthcare profession when it comes to diagnosing Black women. "I think the counselling and psychotherapy profession has a lot to answer for because they themselves were complicit in that racism and not wanting to see what was clearly mental distress or a psychological disturbance and I think that, in itself, has played a huge part as to why people weren't coming forward," she adds.
Yes, yes, we do!
How My ADHD Diagnosis Changed The Way I Live My Life As A Black Woman The ADHD stereotype of young, white hyperactive boys is doubly damaging for Black women in particular who find it impossible to see themselves in the narrative.
I am so thankful for the training I received from Dr. Steven Kniffley Jr, which has allowed me to understand my role in working with BIPOC individuals and racial trauma healing.
