My man, Matthew Lee .3 of Saint Peters Basketball. This is the greatest Cinderella story in NCAA history I believe…..and this kid is something special. Want to talk about a kid that people doubted or second guessed—— and now are WISHING they took him! I was BLESSED to work with him and the other players at in Cincinnati over a 2 year period, and Matthew Lee was always the HARDEST WORKER there. Early. Stayed after. Helped me clean up and set up. Just the best kid and I am cheering for this kid non-stop. Never doubt him…. He is the genuine article, the real deal!
The best are NEVER satisfied!!! ran a 4.38 at the combine….but we can still get faster…we can still be quicker…and we can absolutely learn how to PLAY even faster(and he is already pure smoke out there). Here’s a glimpse of a very high level speed session with star Wan’Dale Robinson.
This takes normal Contrast Training up about 100 levels!!!! We load the primary movement(Running) with the bands, the sled and also restrict arms(no involvement due to holding the sled). After running this way for 20 yards, they turn and are ASSISTED with the VertiMax bands propelling them faster and with about an extra 2-3 inch stride length. THIS is magic. They FEEL exactly what the next level of speed is. Their SOUL discovers where it needs to be!
This is SPEED.
