🚨 Hotel scam artist sought by Lexington Police

Crime Stoppers has been asked by the Lexington Police department for help in identifying the man in the photos below. On August 1, police say he checked in to a hotel on Export Street and provided information, that was later determined to be false, to pay for multiple rooms.

👏🏽 UPDATE: Murder suspect ARRESTED thanks to tip to Crime Stoppers!

We are pleased to report that we received several tips from the community in this case, but it was one tip in particular that led to the arrest of 36-year old Robert Constant. He's being held in the Fayette County Detention Center charged with murder and convicted felon in possession of a handgun.

Lexington Police are looking for Harry McDermott, 31. He’s accused of leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid.
It stems from a crash in September 14, 2023.

Lexington Police are continuing to investigate last Friday night's shooting on National Avenue that took the life of Antoine Clay. Detectives are asking for employees of nearby businesses and homeowners to come forward with any information that may help in the investigation.

UPDATE: Richard Clark has been arrested!!

Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is helping investigators with the Madison-County Sheriff KY in locating an attempted murder suspect.

35-year old Richard Clark of Richmond is currently wanted on active warrants for Murder (attempted), Strangulation 1st Degree and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree.

Clark may be armed so do not approach or attempt to apprehend.

🚨 Do you recognize this robbery suspect?

Lexington Police say that on July 18, the man walked into a store in the 200 block of Legends Lane and put several stolen items into a trash bag. When he was confronted leaving the store, police say he pulled a knife and started waving it while saying "back up."

He then ran from the store.

LEX 18 News reports that the Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case of the 13 puppies that were set on fire back in May in Lexington.

UPDATE: The Golden Alert for Stephen Hatfield has been canceled. He has been located and is safe.
The Lexington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for a missing Lexington man.

The Lexington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for a missing Lexington man.

Stephen Hatfield, 83, was last seen on July 27, 2024, at around 12:00 a.m. in the 2000 block of Bamboo Drive. He is 5’10” tall and approximately 175 pounds, wearing white boxer briefs with stripes, a dark colored tee shirt and no shoes.

Hatfield suffers from dementia and was last seen traveling on foot.

Anyone with knowledge of Stephen Hatfield’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.

On July 10, a victim in the 1900 block of Cambridge Drive reported that two armed men approached him as he got out of his vehicle and demanded he give them “everything he had or they would shoot him." When the victim tried to run away, one of the suspects fired a shot in his direction. The two armed, masked men then fled the area, with some of the victim's things, in a silver Chrysler 300.

🧐 Here's a closer look at the suspected car thief from the 1200 block of Industry Road on May 21.

Lexington Police say the victim reported that a company vehicle was stolen from the lot around 4am. Onboard dash cams recorded this video of a driver around that time.

Lexington Police provided Crime Stoppers with surveillance video from a storage facility in the 1000 block of South Broadway where they are investigating a burglary.

The victim reports that the lock was cut and the contents of the storage unit were removed. Video shows these two, according to police, removing items from the storage unit.
