Today BCC employees and family volunteered with the YMCA of Central KY to help stuff backpacks with school supplies for kids in Fayette County. The backpacks will be distributed this weekend at 15 locations around Lexington. Please see the YMCA website for more details - ymcacky.org/backtoschoolrallies

Steel is going up at for the Paul Miller Ford Pro Elite Truck Service Center in Lexington.

The first two photos were taken about a week apart. It's amazing how fast the metal buildings come together!

The last photo is an overall view of the Paul Miller campus, including the Mazda dealership that we finished in 2022.

Steel is being erected for our project on Harrodsburg Road, about a mile past Palomar going toward Nicholasville. The building will be set up for retail and dining spaces, but no tenants have been announced yet. What would you like to see go there???

Today we were proud to be a part of the excellent groundbreaking ceremony for the new Paul Miller Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center we are building here in Lexington. We're honored to get to work with the team at Paul Miller again and to deliver them another beautiful building!

As part of our Topping Out Ceremony for Lexington Clinic last week, we included a Christmas tree on the last beams raised, which also have the signatures of employees of Lexington Clinic and Brett Construction.

The practice of "topping out" a new building can be traced to the ancient Scandinavian religious rite of placing a tree atop a new building to appease the tree-dwelling spirits displaced in its construction. The tradition also served a functional purpose: a pine tree was used, and after the needles had fallen off the tree, the builders knew the wood frame below had cured/dried out so they could enclose the building.

Yesterday we held a Topping Off Ceremony to celebrate the final metal beams being put into place at the Lexington Clinic Orthopedic Medical Office Building we are building on South Broadway. Congratulations to the team at Lexington Clinic, and big thanks to our team at BCC for all their hard work!

Today we held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for Phoenix Warehouse Services approximately 58,000 square foot warehouse in Georgetown, KY. Congratulations to the folks at Phoenix and special thanks to all at BCC who help contribute to this project's success!

Steel is going up on Broadway for the Lexington Clinic Orthopedic Medical Office Building

We held a Groundbreaking Ceremony for MLS Powersports llc in Georgetown today. MLS Powersports is a Christian based company built on faith and family, and is one of the highest volume pre-owned powersports stores in the Central Kentucky area. We're proud to be building their new dealership!

Last week, Brett Construction & Setzer Properties organized a supply drive for our neighbors affected by the flooding in Eastern Kentucky. Together with many generous members of our community, we were able to donate a trailer full of hundreds of gallons of water, hundreds of rolls of paper towels and toilet paper, cleaning supplies, diapers and baby supplies, bassinets, toiletries, first aid supplies, blankets and bedding, pet food and supplies, propane tanks, clothes, and many other much needed necessities. We are still planning on taking more supplies and monetary donations to the area. If you would like to donate, please call our office and ask for Tony. We are humbled by and appreciative of the generosity that we witnessed last week in our community, and let’s keep it going and make sure that we do all we can to help our neighbors in Eastern Kentucky.

I am sure you all have seen the devastation that has hit Appalachia and near our FedEx Ground job site in Chavies, KY. Hazard High School is providing shelter and taking donations. Brett Construction and Setzer Properties are organizing a donation drop for this Friday. Leak Eliminators is kindly supplying the trailer, which will be at our office at 354 Waller Ave. We hope you would consider buying supplies or helping us shop with monetary donations for the following items:

We will be accepting physical donations until 5:00 PM Thursday the 4th. Please bring any donations to 354 Waller Ave in Lexington, and let the person at the front desk on the second floor know that you are here with donations. PROJECTS: Keith Bowles and CEO Brett Setzer celebrate the demolition of the CarTown Kia building, first constructed by Brett as Lexington Isuzu in 1986.
