Please join us at the Lyric Theatre on Tuesday, October 22, at 6pm where we come together to watch Unseen: Caregiver Documentary. Learn how you can help and support family caregivers through this enlightening film. Guided discussion will follow. Kentucky Society for Clinical Social Work has approved 2 free CEUs for this event. This film is also helpful for families, friends, direct support staffs, legislators, school faculty & administrators, case managers, medical personnel and more. Let’s fill the theater! This is a great learning opportunity for anyone that is serving individuals with disabilities, whether you work as a service provider, caregiver, teacher, therapist, etc… We’d also like to see this shared with students in the , , , and other fields. Wow 🤩! We are grateful for all that came out for the 2nd Fun Raiser! Thank you for so much support - to all of our friends, family, community members, donors and vendors, we thank you for your generosity! The food was great, and the company was even better! Shout out to the band of music therapists from Central Kentucky Creative Therapies and to all who helped to make this night a success.
The monies earned will be put to good use as we continue to place young adults with disabilities into community-based jobs, and support inclusion in our neighborhoods, schools and workplaces. Thanks again for your support!

It's with great pleasure of the Board of Directors of Build Inclusion, Inc. to officially announce the agency’s new Executive Diretor, Rachael Lanter, MSW, CSW (she/her/hers). Rachael started working at Build Inclusion as a practicum student in January 2020 before becoming a part-time employee shortly after her internship ended. Since becoming a full-time employee in May 2021, Rachael has served in a variety of roles such as Practicum Student Supervisor, Mental Health Services program director, and the IPS Program Supervisor. Rachael has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master's of Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky. She is a Certified Social Worker through the state of Kentucky and is currently working toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. When she's not at work, you can find Rachael reading, doing DIY projects around her house, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs.
What I love about this work: "Since I've always been a goal-oriented person, I find it very fulfilling to help others accomplish their goals and find meaningful work. It's such an honor to be part of someone's journey in self-discovery and self-determination as their work toward achieving their dreams."

As part of our ongoing efforts, Build Inclusion has secured the rights to share the Unseen: Caregiver Documentary. Behind the scenes of success for many individuals with disabilities are loving families and caregivers that also need your support. We’d like to recognize their efforts and promote policies and resources that facilitate their success too.
We know in raising any child, it takes a village. We want to strengthen and expand that village to include all families. Stay tuned for announcements of public screenings, and please reach out if you’d like to discuss a private screening for your organization. This is a much watch for students, field professionals, policy makers, school staffs & administrators, mental health professionals, and communities who are striving to embrace diversity, and make a more inclusive, equitable and healthy society. We will even come to you and facilitate discussion and feedback after the showing!
