Been cooking something up for coach since he landed in Lexington a few weeks ago. But he just finally stopped long enough for me to catch up with him and drop them off. This guy is exactly who this program needed. I’m super excited for Pope years. It does feel a little different this time around though, but I’m always a sucker for nostalgia. I told Coach I partly blame him for me participating in some unruly behavior by the old Lynaghs pub on campus one night in April of ‘96🤣.
That championship will always be special as it was my first as a fan. I WAS alive in ‘78, but was prob worried more about Saturday morning cartoons. Anyways..welcome back home Go Big Blue!

So…today I’m doing something I’ve tossed around for 5 years. I’m cutting off new commisions for a few months. Ive always been a people pleaser and I almost never bat an eye when someone comes to me with a project or idea. No matter if I truly wanted to do it or not. But I’ve gotta learn to say NO sometimes. This past year has been full of ups and downs…sickness, life, death, and my own mental obstacles. And the that has resulted in very long wait times. I can no longer do that to myself, if for nothing else, just for my own mental health. This industry and culture has changed so much in the last 12 years since I started this gig, it has become toxic for me. But that’s not to say I don’t appreciate every one of my followers, supporters, and clients past and present. I’ll always ride for those that have pushed me and cheered me on along the way. But for now, I’m taking a step back and focusing on getting caught up and changing up my business model a bit. If nothing else, the last couple years have taught me not everyone is your friend, and many of those that smile to your face and cheer you on, are the same ones that discount everything you’ve done.
I’m pushing 50 now. And the things and people that truly mean the world to me are all within arms reach. And if you don’t fw me..that’s fine too. Just unfollow me and keep moving. ✌🏼
