Throwback 2014! Sharing some pictures from our past as we make our way to our 15 year celebration this Saturday! Recognize some of these former students? 😄 This is back when they took lessons and also played in our studio bluegrass band!

Cheap Death: a Blue Raven Music project rocking hard this weekend!

Grades 6-12 get your rock on! Grab your instrument and become part of band. Work on song arranging and soloing and learn to play together as a group. Final performance Thursday night at the Storm Cellar!

Acoustic instrument players you too can join in the fun! Be a part of a band and learn to play songs together. Learn the traditional one mic performance technique. Kids get to Work on song arranging, soloing and harmony as well. On the final night perform at a local venue!

Grades 6-12 Learn the art of creating lyrics and then setting them to music. We will also explore songwriting collaboration by working in pairs to create a second song. The last day there will be an evening showcase of the individual song and the small group song.

Let’s welcome our newest vocal instructor, Sarah Koch! Call or message us today to get signed up for lessons!

Sarah’s love for music started as a child watching “Hannah Montana". She started taking piano lessons at 8, and played saxophone through middle and high school, when she realized her love for vocal music through high school choir, show choir, and musicals. She then went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in Voice from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, minoring in musical theatre. She continues her education here at the studio taking guitar lessons. Well versed in classical, jazz, musical theatre, or contemporary music, Sarah is the perfect teacher for your next audition, or just to build your confidence singing!

Last night Cheap Death: Rocked it in the finals Gray's Keg battle of the bands and took 2nd place! It was a great night and we're so proud! Make sure to follow cheap death on their FB and insta!

Cheap Death: won round 1!!! They are advancing to the Finals!!! Tomorrow night they take stage at Gray's Keg to complete in the final round! Come out and support them!! Event in the comments!

Today is the day! We're playing the Battle of the Bands at Gray's Keg tonight at 7pm! $10 for one night, $15 for both nights.

Congratulations to our instructor Max Antoine for winning best performer in a play at the Lincoln Community Playhouse through the 2023 Broadway World Omaha Awards!

Tonight! Our main student band Cheap Death: will be competing in a band competition at Gray's Keg! They will be going up against 2 other bands to advance to the 2nd round! Come out and vote for them to help them advance!

1 more day until the battle of the bands! If you’re free tomorrow and need to get out of the house come on down to Grays Keg and support cheap Death! We are playing at 7pm, tickets are $10 for one day or $15 for both days.

Meet our newest instructor, Max Antoine! He will be teaching Piano and voice. Call or message today to sign up for lessons

Max Antoine has had a lifelong passion for music and theater, he is a multi-talented musician, actor and military veteran. Beginning his musical career at the age of 5 on the piano led to his love of all styles of music. He has had over two decades of professional playing experience on the piano spanning across multiple genres including classical, jazz, musical theater and more contemporary styles. Branching outside the piano, Max has honed his skills on the saxophone playing in jazz and Marching band throughout high school. His dedication to excellence also extends to serving his country as a proud Navy Veteran.
He is also the Innovator behind RMV Studios sound, lighting and Audio engineering Services and the Caribbean band RMV (Rich Musical Vibes). As an actor and Music director he has led multiple productions including “Elf Jr,” Peter Pan Jr,” and “Hairspray, jr,”
He has shared his musical expertise as a choir director for Mt. Zion Baptist Church and as pianist for Allon Chapel SDA Church.
Being able to foster young talent is an important aspect of his musical life and he has found that in working with Roper Elementary as the assistant Choir director. With an unwavering dedication to his craft and genuine love for teaching, Max Antoine offers exceptional guidance for the musical journey of students of all ages and aspirations. He is excited to share his talent with Blue Raven Music studios.
