The mission of the Food Processing Center is to advance the value-added food manufacturing industry by aiding in technical and business development starting from the idea and continuing through ongoing market support. The Food Processing Center (FPC) offers both technical and business development services while additionally utilizing our ability to partner up with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Food Science and Technology faculty as well as other university departments.

Our Better Process Control School, Oct 1-3 is approved by the FDA and is designed to assist food manufacturers in preventing public health problems in low-acid and acidified low-acid canned foods.
