Shirley first came in a little over a year ago with jet black hair that was colored to match her natural to cover some greys. She went to .bee and was told she was a winter! She really wanted to go blonde and with a lot of patience and time we were able to achieve it his cool/neutral blonde on naturally black hair. We are obsessed!

Let’s talk COLOR THEORY! in a world of “warm or cool” let’s talk neutrals!
First off, perception is key. Some people perceive warmth or coolness even if it doesn’t exist. It’s just how people see things.
Neural tones are brilliant colors because they contain all the primary colors, meaning they reflect light in the best way. They are not cool nor warm, they sit perfectly in the middle morphing to their surroundings.
Keep this in mind when you talk to your hairdresser about your particular color season. Cool brunettes NEED that red and yellow underlying pigment (even if it’s just a little) otherwise they do not reflect light and will look sallow.
I know I just scared a lot of people by mentioning red end yellow, BUT all dyes use primary colors (red yellow and blue) to achieve the pigment they desire, and this includes hair color.
