Today, we see outside and feel the hint of winter to come. This reminds us to get the house in order and be prepared for the cold. Here at Moore Pawn and Furniture, we have a great selection of living room furniture and bedroom furniture for you to look at and take home if they will fill your need. When considering a new piece of furniture I would say there are several things you should consider that are not top of mind when buying furniture.
1. What is the size of the opening or place you want to use for your furniture. I see this problem creep up quite frequently when people buy something that will not fit once they get home.
2. Will the furniture actually be able to fit into your home. We ran into this just recently when a customer purchased a sectional and it would not go into the apartment because the ceilings and hall were too little.
3. What are the color combinations that work well with what you already own. You don't have to stick to the same color, but the colors that you pick should be complimentary. A little variety in your color pallette helps to add a sense of flair to your home.
4. Don't forget about cleaning around the house and what that means when you are vacuuming or dusting and how easy or hard that would be to get around.
5. Safety for the children. Glass coffee tables and kitchen tables are probably not the best choice if you have some children that are very active around the house.
