We are lucky ducks to partner with the Lincoln Hygiene Network, a local hygiene bank whose mission is to increase the health and dignity of individuals and families experiencing financial hardship through the distribution of personal care products at no cost to direct service organizations like EPC pantry. Due to the Labor Day holiday, there will be NO drive-thru box distribution on Sunday, September 3rd.

Just a reminder. Todays distribution is for in person shopping appointments only. There is no drive thru on Wednesdays starting today. Sunday distribution is now drive thru only.
Important changes coming starting 3/15/23:
Effective March 15, 2023 we will start the following changes to Pantry availability and services:
Drive-thru box service will be available on Sundays from 1:00-3:00. No appointments are necessary. Please follow the signs to follow the flow of traffic. Please stay in your vehicle and our volunteers will load the box for you. Only one box will be provided per family. One adult from each household requesting a box MUST be present to receive a box.
In-person shopping will only be available on Wednesdays from 4:00-7:00 pm. Appointments are required for in-person shopping.
Shoppers request appointments by:
· Calling 531-254-5405 and leaving a voice message. The message is sent to [email protected] and a volunteer will contact you soon.
· Emailing [email protected] to request a shopping appointment.
· Using the sign-up link: https://southwoodlutheran.ivolunteer.com/epcps22
o Please note: You can only sign-up one household at a time using the link. Each household can only sign up to shop 2 times per month. Abuse of this policy will result in being banned from making appointments for in-person shopping.

· 15 minutes to shop in the pantry
· Not allowed into the pantry until scheduled time
If Lincoln Public Schools close due to weather, the pantry will also be closed.

Just a reminder, the pantry is closed today due to the holiday. We will be open again on Wednesday.
Our normal policy is to close the pantry if LPS is closed. However, with this being the week of Christmas we want to make sure families have the food they need.
If you have already scheduled a shopping appointment for tomorrow, we will have volunteers at the pantry to fulfill your shopping appointment.
However, will NOT have our drive thru open due to the cold temperatures tomorrow.

Please note that when you leave a message to schedule a shopping appointment, those calls are returned by volunteers during normal business hours. Please allow up to 48 hours for a return call.
The pantry is closed when LPS is closed. There will not be food distribution tomorrow.
We have some exciting news!!!
We are moving back to in-person shopping! To make an appointment please call 531-254-5405. You will need to leave a message with your contact information so a Pantry volunteer can call you back and get you scheduled.
A few things you should know:
* We will only be allowing 3 shoppers at a time inside the pantry. To accommodate this we will be scheduling shoppers in 15 minute time slots. Please do not enter the pantry before your shopping time. Please arrive on time. You will only be able to shop during your 15 minute time slot. Late arrivals will not be able to be accommodated.
*You will be required to sanitize your hands upon entering the Pantry. You will also be required to wear a mask the entire time you are inside the pantry.
We will also be offering a limited drive-thru option. We will have pre-packed boxes available for families who do not make appointments to come in and shop. Substitutions, special requests, and frozen/refrigerated items will not be available. Please pull into the drive-thru and honk if there is not a volunteer outside to greet you.
