Halal options expanded to meet students' needs As individuals share ideas and customs, dining can play a central role in finding a place on campus. Through the expansion of halal options in the dining centers, the Husker community helps welcome all students and guests.
During spring break, campus spaces will remain open with reduced hours and select closures. Libraries, dining centers, the unions, the rec centers, health center and other spots are changing hours.

Introducing Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Dee Dee Anderson to the John Breslow Ice Hockey Center during UNL Campus Rec's Free Skate Night last week āøā¤
Dee Dee Anderson, vice chancellor for student affairs, has pledged to give $600 if at least 200 donors give to the Student Affairs Development Fund during Glow Big Red. The giving day starts at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 14, and continues through noon on Thursday, Feb. 15.
VC Anderson challenges donors to give to Student Affairs for Glow Big Red Glow Big Red is a 24-hour day of giving to the University of NebraskaāLincoln to raise money for scholarships, colleges, programs, student organizations, inclusion, mental health, and much more. The giving day starts at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 14, and continues through noon on Thursday, Feb. 15.
The Student Luminary Awards are designed to shine a light on exceptional undergraduate and graduate students who make a difference through their leadership and extraordinary commitment to improving the campus or community while excelling in their academic pursuits.
Each student luminary recipient will receive a $1,000 monetary award. A program to honor recipients will take place April 12, 2024.
The university community is encouraged to submit nominations through February 16.

Congratulations to Andrew Brown, Assistant Director of Community Engagement, for being presented with the December Board of Regents Kudos Award. š
The award spotlights Andrew's efforts in initiating a volunteer ambassador program serving 20 non-profits and his dedication to the Husker Vote Coalition, which was recognized in the 2023 All-in Campus Democracy Challenge Award by registering 5,257 students.
