It’s Race Week! The 47th Lincoln Marathon and Half Marathon is on Sunday. It starts at 14th and Vine Streets at 6:55 a.m. on May 5. Lincoln Police will be working closely with our partner agencies to prepare throughout the week and on Race Day.

As you’re planning, keep in mind there will be various road closures during the marathon. Let’s work together to make this a fun and memorable day for our racers with minimal impact on the community.

1st, I want to thank all of you for being so patient with me taking time off to get caught up with family and to recover from a couple of different illnesses. But I did attend an open massage class where I got to meet some amazing therapists and learn a couple of new things

Mark Francis made this the other night for my brother who is currently in a rehabilitation center to help him get some of those back scratches he is missing. Again our family appreciates all the prayers that he has received since he first was in the hospital over a month ago. Love you Jeff Moeller
